I have been seeing Dr. Blankenhorn for the past 9 years for my complex foot issues. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is always very approachable. Dr. Blankenhorn is very thorough and assures that his patients are well informed and involved with all decisions regarding their care. He ensures that all avenues are explored regarding patient care; surgery is never the first option unless absolutely necessary. If you are looking for a doctor who is sensitive to your particular situation and really listens while also providing exceptional care, you have come to the right place.

Making the appointment was easy and his Administrative assistant, Sue, took every bit of stress out of the process. During my appointment Dr. Blankenhorn was kind, thorough, answered every question, and made me feel at ease about my issue! I highly recommend him!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Blankenhorn! I had a serious ankle Break and dislocated foot. He took a lot of time explaining the damage and different options for treatment and then told me what he would do and WHY. The surgery to fix the damage went great. He attended the follow ups himself (although his PA is wonderful). And 8 months later a second surgery to remove hardware. Full range of movement! Thank you Dr. Blankenhorn and everyone at University Ortho. I hope I never see you again!

If I find an experience remarkable, that is when I feel compelled to share. Only then. My experience today with Dr. Blankenhorn was very disappointing. He was less than attentive, concerned or engaged with me or my “broken” limb. I felt like I was in a factory, and he had a quota to achieve. Shame on you Dr. Blakenhorn.

Dr. Brad Blankenhorn is very professional and explains everything in great detail. I’m super impressed with him and with my end result. My right foot was badly deformed for several years due to hammer toe and a bunion. He performed a bunionectomy and removed a piece of bone from my 2nd toe and put pins in my 2nd, 3rd & 4th toes to straighten them and my foot looks completely normal again. You’d never know how deformed it was. I’d do it all over again any time! He knows what he’s doing. Haven’t been able to wear all types of shoes for several years without immense pain but those days are gone! I’m even able to wear sandals now. No more embarrassing foot for me! The small scar is barely visible. You’re in good hands with Doctor Blankenhorn! Top shelf!
