The best doctor I have ever been to. He is a great guy and is very caring. After my surgery, I had no pain at all what a relief it was.

After initial appointment, Dr McColloms office failed to submit my referral for PT for several severe back injuries. I called the office several times and no response. When I showed up to my follow up appointment, I was left waiting over an hour. The nurse had previously mentioned they didn’t have my MRI file because of a computer issue. Knowing he hasn’t looked at them because I just provided them, he recommended spinal injections for my “injuries”. When I corrected him on what my injuries actually are, diagnosed by several doctors who reviewed my file, he said “I’m not going to argue with you. You can just leave”. Never have I received such negligent care and someone throwing around such invasive treatment without properly even reviewing my file. Then on top of it to have such an arrogant and rude attitude because he could not perform his job.

I have not seen Dr. McCollom in a couple of years because I do not live full time in Florida. When I last saw him he gave me a complete workup of my problem, and made a disc for me to keep with me. I put Dr. McCollom at the top of Neurological Surgery. He is highly respected and I highly recommend him.

He has operated on me twice and was very satisfied with his ability and his personality .I've recommended him to many of my friends who absolutely loved him.

Very disappointed with my first time office visit, I had to wait one month to see him, his staff was quick to collect the $50 co-pay from me before I even got to see him, then after him asking some questions about myself and how long I was having the back pain, he said he was going to recommend a pain management doctor. after waiting another five days I called the pain management doctor to ask if they ever got the referral for me to get to see the their doctor i was told that they never got the referral from Dr. McCollom, I then called his office to ask why Dr. Cordner at the Sebastian pain management office never got the referral and was told they were sure they sent it out. I would not recommend Dr. McCollum to anyone who is in pain.

I had a hemilaminectomy performed by Dr. Brad McCollom at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and I end up with an abdominal aortic laceration... So what it was supposed to be a back surgery end up being a open heart type of surgery... Nobody was responsable for this error, negligence or malpractice...

So far so good.

Awesome doctor. I have had a surgery done and I am ready for another.

Lack of concern for patients, if not you directly, then your staff and the importance of control you've given THEM, instead of taking the responsibility yourself!
