Dr. Bradley Lowell Boyd, DO

Dr Boyd was very engaging, friendly and professional. He explained very clearly what was going on with my hip from the X-ray that had been taken. He also checked and explained both my knees and made recommendations regarding care. He clearly explained the hip replacement surgical procedure that he performs and the benefits of robotics assisted surgery. I really appreciated that he gave suggestions for the timing and need for the surgical procedure and how to care for the hip presently, until I am ready for the replacement. Both my husband and I left the appointment feeling confident that when the time comes I will schedule with him to perform the surgery.

I have had Dr. Boyd as my orthopedic doctor for several years and consider myself fortunate to have been referred referred to him for bilateral knee replacement surgery. Dr. Boyd explained and demonstrated on a model what would happen, how my recovery should go, and answered all my questions. Both surgies went smoothly and my recovery was uneventful. This time I went in because of hip pain and weakness. Dr. Boyd had my imaging (from my other medical providers) and went through all the damage that my spine and hips had sustained, provided a plan for increasing my strength and flexibility, and coordinated my treatment with other doctors to get me the best results for recovery. Dr Boyd always listens, asks questions and has always had my health as a top priority. He is thorough and I highly recommend him to anyone that needs the orthopedic treatments that he can provide.

Dr. Boyd is the expert in his field. He is not only a phenomenal physician, but a warm and caring person with all his patients. I have recommended a number of people to see him, and ALL have been extremely happy. In the past, he cleaned up and revised my right hip replacement after another well known orthopedic surgeon literally botched up my hip surgery. Dr. Bradley Boyd is the most qualified, caring and exceptional orthopedic surgeon in our area!

I am so glad that I found Dr. Boyd. After surgery with another doctor, that did not heal well, he has helped me to regain much of the mobility I had lost. He and his team of physical therapists were absolutely excellent. I was especially pleased with the way Dr. Boyd explained my situation and the way that we would work to improve it.. He is very patient and and answered all the questions I had. In summary, Dr. Boyd is an excellent doctor and has an excellent office staff. In addition, the physical therapy staff is very professional and caring as well. I highly recommend Dr Boyd, his Fairfax office staff and the Fairfax PT professionals!
