Had to cancel my new patient appointment for 3pm with Dr Douglas @ 9am due to feeling very Ill. Confirmed 2nd appointment, when I received a very brusque voicemail from the Office Manager, stating when appointments are canceled on same day, Dr Douglas would not accept me as a patient. I repeatedly requested to speak with Dr Douglas, denied by office manager, stating he could waste more time on me. I was directly referred to Dr Douglas by Dr Robert Mellman, my PC.Having been a Nurse for many yrs, I have NEVER refused a patients request to speak with a Dr. Dr Douglas,I would greatly appreciate your contacting me as a Professional and a patient.I’m sure you have a very active practice, calling in Ill is a precaution in our Covid society. Felt I was being responsible!
