Dr. Bradley John Folkestad, MD

This is my second pregnancy and have been so happy with Dr. Folkestad in comparison with my first child experience. He seems to truly care about his patients and listens to any concerns I've brought up and has been happy to help me feel more comfortable through the process.

Dr folkestad delivered my first baby and I had such a smooth easy delivery with no complaints ?? and I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd and of course will have folkestad deliver him as well. He is a great doctor. Hes a specialist in high risk pregnancies and I am considered high risk. The ONLY complaint I can think of is the wait time to see him , but I just know it's going to be a two hour appointment (with ultrasound, blood work sometimes, Dr visit ect) and just prepare my day for that time frame. He's well worth the wait, and he's so busy because he is such a good doctor! He's so nice and answers all questions to where you understand the answer lol . He does talk fast but that's just the way he talks in general I definitely don't think it's because he's rushing , I think his brain just works so fast his mouth tries to keep up ! I was recommended to him and I will always recommended dr .folkestad!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Folkestad was my doctor through my two pregnancies. He and his staff were beyond amazing and always answered all of my questions. I was so happy with this practice, that I referred my sister, my friend and even my day care provider!

I have been going to Dr. Folkstad 17 years now!! My mom and sister went to him, I started going at 16. Now he has delivered 2 of my children via c-section. Now I am 31 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby and j have some new things to deal with with this baby, and come to find out he is an expert in my special situation. So just another reason to love him more!! Love love LOVE my Mr. Dr. Folkstad!

He delivered my son, and I wish I knew then what I know now... He talks extremely fast, and it never felt like he listened to our feelings or concerns. He came off as squirly and uncaring. I was a teen when pregnant, and feel I wouldn't have tolerated this behavior had I been a bit older. He induced me, and then left the hospital. He didn't make it back in time, thus not delivering my child. I was a high risk patient and he chose to induce and then leave me. Luckily a wonderful nurse delivered my boy would NOT recommend him

First time visit. Doctor made a major prescription decision after asking me two questions and neither was about my current medical history. His decision was based on what the world health organization said and not on me the patient. He was rude and gave a lousy annual exam. Total time spent with me was 5 minutes after waiting 53 minutes to see him. I'm an RN and I've never seen a doctor base a decision on the WHO instead of his patient. Do yourself a favor and find a competent doctor who will look at you as a human and treat your needs and symptoms.

This will be my second baby delivered by Dr. Folkestad. I was so happy with him the first time, I've decided to return to him again. I have some pretty funky anatomy and he seemed to be the only one who was familiar with my situation. He knew I was high risk and watched over me and my baby very closely, I ended up not having any complications and we were both so impressed that I may not need a c- section after all. He suggested that I may need one, but I never felt pressured into doing it. I told him I wanted to try and have a natural birth first and if that didn't work, then we could do a cesarian. I don't know why some women feel they can not speak up and be the boss of their bodies but you can! Without hesitation, he agreed. He let me try and of course he was right. After 2 days, 2 Iv's of Pitocin, and trying to break my water, I got absolutely nowhere. My uterus just will not contract. So we moved on with the c- section. I was literally laughing the whole time. I healed very… quickly and overall had just a wonderful experience! Now 5 and a half years later, I'm back with my second.

Dr. Folkestad is great! The office staff is a different story and the wait time is ridiculous. But because the Dr is so wonderful I would not switch facilities.

I have been going to this office for 15 yrs! I will continue to go to this office as long as I live in AZ and Dr. Folkestad is around.

I've always felt awkward about seeing a male gyno But I had a cyst on my ovary and had to go to the ER. He was the attending doc that evening. I have never felt so comfortable. He was absolutely awesome and I've been seeing him ever since. Great doc!!
