Dr. Brenda Penny Jacobs, MD

Dr. Jacobs staff is wonderful and gets you an appointment in a very timely manner if you need to be seen immediately.

I have been going to Dr. Jacobs for almost 20 years. I drive at least 45 minutes each way to my appointments with her and have no problem doing so. I respect Dr. Jacobs and feel she is concerned with my well being and I trust her as my Gynecologist.

I was so happy with the care I received from Dr. Jacobs. I was sent a welcome packet with new patient paperwork, lessening my wait time for my appointment. I got a reminder call the day before which was nice. She was very thorough and extremely caring. This was my first gyn visit and she explained everything and put me at ease. The results were prompt as well.

I have had some bad experiences trying to get an appointment with out doctors, but I knew this was the right place from my first call. The secretary was very helpful and got me an appointment within a reasonable time. I was a bit nervouse when I arrived because I did not know what to expect. From the moment Dr. Jacobs walked in I knew I found the right doctor. She was very easy to talk to and definitely made me feel comfortable. I would recommend this office/doctor to my family and friends!

My friend told me not to got to Dr. Jacobs that her staff was extremely rude. But I can handle a rude staff. Usually front office staff at a doctors office isn't the friendlist anyways, they are paid a low rate usually and have a poor education. But I also had an issue with the Dr.'s personality. I don't think she paid any kind of attention to my problem and seemed very judgemental. I cannot have a doctor have a problem with my personal beliefs or lifestyle. I really believe that personality with a gyno doctor is very important. I didn't give her another chance and decided to go to Dr. Diaz in Newport Beach. I love Dr. Diaz, she is very helpful and sweet. Her staff is very warm and friendly. It is a bit of a drive to go to Dr. Diaz, but worth it. I cannot give Dr. Jacobs a good rating due to personality conflicts. And, I believe that the personality of someone being in such an intimate setting. Please, if you don't like the first appointment with a doctor, don't feel like… you have to keep going just because you feel like you don't have options. you do have many other very nice and warm plus qualified gyno doctors out there to go to. I had given the doctor and her staff a poor revire several weeks ago. I believe she had a great review posted immediately following my bad one. It was wrtten in a way that sounded like a doctor wrote it. I then wrote another review saying I was disguisted by what had been done. Of course I could be wrong about the doctoring of reviews but my initial review was based on my experience. I was once again totally taken a back by the removal of all my reviews. I will be gaking this up with vitals.com and I hope this post stays. But I am fairly confident it will also be removed. These posts are based on actual feedback from patients and unfortunately negative feedback is unacceptable to doctor jabobs. I am truly shocked, outraged, and totally furious at the removal of my review. Once again it shows how this doctor operates.

I saw Dr. Jacobs a few weeks ago and continue to receive excellent care from her and her staff. I work in management at a hospital (unaffiliated with Dr. Jacobs' hospitals). Dr. Jacobs is an excellent physcian who is also kind, caring and generous with her time. I can't recommend her more highly.
