Dr. Brenda Annette Myers-Powell

i heard she retired GOOD!!!! everything previous 1 star people said is sooo true worst Dr ever!!! And her son is just as bad!

I first visited Dr. Myers-Powell during a bout of optic neuritis, and have had subsequent visits. She has been thorough, direct, and consistently explained exactly what the next steps would be and why, and been an instrumental part of my care team.

Dr. Myers-Powell is Kind, competent and caring. She has a friendly concerned air about her. She was able to answer all my concerns. The Mt Lake Terrace front desk staff was rude and had zero concern for me and my time but do not care because they are not the ones doing surgery on me. I really enjoyed meeting Dr Powell. She was all smiles and very thorough. It was a very busy clinic because she only works on Mondays in Mt. Lake Terrace. I was satisfied with this visit and the wait time was just fine...Dr. Powell came highly recommended. I would gladly wait all day for the BEST!

Incorrectly entered data completely invalidating test results. Requitjng yet anoyher visit. Couldn't check diopters on glasses because their machine was broken.

Dr. Myers-Powell is obviously competent. She has this efficient, all-business air about her. She is very thorough, and covered all the questions I had to ask. The clinic seems to be busy all the time (Mountlake Terrace office), and the front desk staff, though courteous, seems curt and hurried. All in all, I was satisfied with this visit as I did not have any expectations.

Didn't realize that having an appointment didn't mean you should expect to be seen at the scheduled time, or even close to it. After being dilated and waiting 1/2 hour, asked several times how much longer, always got an answer - 20 minutes. After almost two hours, with no idea of when or if I would see a doctor, decided to leave. While trying to get my copay back, the doctor steps up to ask what the problems is, and when I say I have been waiting an hour and a half, informs me I should have studied the new patient paperwork and seen that I should have expected to have been there 3 - 4 hours. Really! If I had read that I wouldln't have been upset about waiting, right? When I mentioned that none of the numerous staff had mentioned that when I asked how much longer, she walked away. I think if she had been a little more understanding of the frustration of waiting in an uncomfortable waiting room with no communication on when you would be seen, and apologized for the… misunderstanding, I would have stayed. But she never indicated when she would be ready to see me, or that she even cared whether I came or went. So...I went. It's unfortunate, but I value my time as much as she evidently values hers. I took the afternoon off from work, and ended up going home in tears and now have to work at finding another doctor. This time I will ask how long I can expect the whole thing to take, so I don't plan anything else for the day.

Brenda (I refuse to call her a doctor) is the most arrogant person I have ever met. She thinks that because she has an MD that she can treat others poorly. She seems to think she knows it all but could not answer many of my questions, often diverting the conversation. She is a mean and spiteful woman. If you are a man, AVOID her. The office staff was average.

I am very happy that Dr Myers was chosen to be my doctor, I liked her patient doctor relationship immediately. I would recommend her to my family and friends in a minute. We have the same last name but we are not related. Thank you Dr Myers .

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT FOR OVER THREE YEARS. I have also tried other retinal specialist and after one visit I returned to Dr. M-P. AS A FELLOW MD I am able to critical judge her skill and expertise. She is one of the best Md that I visit regularly.

Very loud and obnoxious office staff. Clinic manager and doctor were very rude to staff in front of me. Could hear doctor yelling on phone about a billing issue. Very arrogant and cocky. Get off your high horse
