"I can't see any better after having cataract surgery. At the follow-up, the tech said I should have the laser treatment which is a pretty routine procedure after cataracts removed. When I called to ask about getting the laser appointment setup, the staff (believe it was the tech), got angry at my questions and then hung up on me. I won't go and probably can't go back for the needed follow-up, so I will be looking for another doctor who will hopefully perform the follow-up that should have been done by the doctor who removed the cataracts. I have never experienced such a rude and unprofessional staff especially at a doctor's office."

I've accompanied by daughter and granddaughter for 3 of her appointments. He is cold and brash and we are good and fed up. Never again. For the record, my daughter was 100% compliant with the at-home directions, so she has no reason to be intimidated and yelled at. His sarcasm and negative talk has no place in the medical field, let alone in pediatrics. Find a more compassionate doctor.

Dr. Brent carmack should not be working with children. He yanked my 2 year olds arm out of frustration, yelled at us and walked out of our appointment. My 2 year old has been saying since our appointment that he's scared of Dr. Gold. I'm still in disbelief. His administrator, Tiffany, said it was because he had a bad day.

After having cataract surgery, then treated for dry eye, I was told I needed a lower lid lift...After two years, I'm still waiting for the lid to fall into place. It is distorted and now I need reconstructive surgery. I don't recommend this doctor to any one, you may be very disappointed..the run around I was given is appalling..

Dr Carmack is one of the best eye doctors I have ever seen. He is very personable, answers all questions and takes the time to discuss your overall health history. He made excellent recommendations about the type of frames that would be best to support my prescription, did a thorough Diabetic eye exam (I have Type II Diabetes) and explained things I can do to help support my eye health. He has a great personality and makes you feel very comfortable. He is interested in your feedback and LISTENS when you talk to him. Finally, his staff was excellent and was able to help me navigate my insurance (medical vs eye insurance) and was extremely professional. I highly recommend this doctor.

I love Dr. Carmack! He never rushes through his appointments and always makes sure I understand everything. He is great!
