Dr. Brent Smail Harlan, MD

Dr. Harlan works in concert with the dangerous Dr. Maher Ayyash at Heritage Valley Hospital - Kennedy Township. My elderly mother was behaving erratically, so we sent her to the ER at Heritage Valley. She had a urinary tract infection (UTI) which many times manifests in erratic or unusual behavior. She was treated for the UTI. But none of us new she was treated for a UTI for 5 days. Meanwhile, Dr. Harlan and Dr. Ayyash committed her to the Heritage Valley psychiatric ward, saying she has dementia and began dosing her with the dangerous anti-psychotic drug Seroquel, and won't release her. We all knew she had dementia, but it was highly livable. Now, she is declining both physically and mentally. But the hospital is making money, which is why doctors like Harlan and Ayyash are employed there.
