Dr Bret E. Davis, MD

Barely spent 5 minutes with me. Failed to explain treatment. In a big hurry to leave the exam room.

I have been going to Dr. Davis for a number of years. He is very attentive to any concerns I have. He has found two melanomas, which were not at all typical, and had them removed. He is also very conservative in his treatment and ensures that a lab test is done so the correct treatment can be administered...

Had a appointment with him he was very cold didn't want to answer questions was in a rush to get on to the next patient after I waited 3 months to see him :( Appointment was no more than 5 min Im so disappointing.

I recently was treated by Dr. Davis for a skin rash/irritation. He asked many useful questions about my skin and had great recommendations. I highly recommend him.

Went in for a general dermatological check-up. Dr. Davis was not particularly warm or engaging. Very perfunctory in his exam. Seemed irritated at being asked questions. Exited the exam with barely a goodbye. Perhaps a bad day for him ... or perhaps he's simply a jerk. In any case, I would be reluctant to recommend him particularly since there a number of other (and no doubt better!) options in the Santa Barbara area.

I have never met anyone so lacking in personality or so uninterested, he neither listened nor examined, I left more confused than when I went in. Plus his chartng was not truthfull.
