Dr. Brett William Mccoy

Dr. McCoy, Has dissapointed me immensely as far as doctor ,patient and communication with insurance .There can be small issues that can come up with Insurance that need clarification from a surgeon and Dr. McCoy is NOT that doctor who will assist you. He'd just as soon put another person on the table to make sure his pockets stay full and leave you to suffer with your pain and you figure it out!

Dr. McCoy did a fine job in 2013 when he did a carpel tunnel release on my right hand and again in 2017 when he did a similar release on my left hand. I highly recommend him.

I can believe I had to pay a copay just to schedule appointment for surgery and I had to go to the office to the appointment I guess they can do it over the phone like other doctors.

I am a 64 year old female requiring a total knee replacement of my right knee. I suffer from terrible anxiety and the thought of surgery was extremely trying for me. Dr. Brett is an incredible doctor, has extreme patience, spent a great deal of time with me and has excellent bedside manner. I honestly would probably not have had this done, even with the amount of pain that I was in, had he not spent the amount of time he did with me showing what he would be doing during surgery, the recovery and how he would be with me every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Brett for any knee or shoulder surgery you may require.

Dr. McCoy is a terrific doctor but his staff is SLOW at BEST in answering phone calls. I have phone numerous times only to not get a call in return. I just received a phone call from my son's Physical Therapist who has faxed them 4 times just to get a signature on paperwork to continue this and they still haven't done that. I was also told by this person that the secretary was rude to her. That's the biggest issue I have with them.

My son Broke his clavicle on his left shoulder in 2 places as a result of a football injury his senior year of 2015. My Son played quarterback and was not wanting to miss his senior year. With the consultation Dr McCoy and prayer it was decided that surgery was our best option for our sons quickest return to the gridiron. The injury happened week 2 and by week 9 my son was back on the field playing. Although this is not how I would have planned my son's senior year of football. I am very thankful for the very gifted Surgeon of Dr. Brett McCoy. He and his Staff are the very best.

I injured my knee in a work accident and went to dr mccoy. He was very kind and very thorough. He listened to the details about what happened. he seemed to care about what I was saying. After he ran his tests and had a diagnosis he made sure to explain it to me in terms that I would understand, and not just throw a bunch of big words at me. He made sure to educate me on any possible complications or future side effects. He was great, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor! I would recommend him to anyone. His office staff is lovely as well! Very friendly, and very helpful. They never rushed me off the phone when i called. when I had a concern about my healing progress he was in seeing another patient, but the office took the message, asked the dr, and they called me back super quick, I didn't have to wait long at all for a return call. Probably one of the best drs I have been to.
