Dr. Brian Russell Blackburn, DO

I saw Dr Blackburn due to pain, weakness and tingling in my right leg. After my MRI, he diagnosed me with spinal stenosis and went over several options. He explained the surgery process thoroughly. I opted to try pain management shots. Those shots were moderately effective, but after 8 months I opted to have the surgery. Dr Blackburn performed a spinal fusion at L3-L4. I immediately had relief of the symptoms and after 15 months none have returned. My quality of life has dramatically improved and wished I'd done the surgery earlier. I highly recommend Dr Blackburn.

I cannot say enough postitive things about Dr. Blackburn. Truly I was so impressed by his patience and willingness to be conservative with treatments until it became necessary not to be. Dr. Blackburn saved my life and gave back a higher level of quality of life than was expected. Be performed two double fusions in my cervical spine. The procedure was quick and went exceptionally well. He was attentive to my needs before and after surgery. He listens well and explains things in an easy to understand way. I fractured my T-spine in 4 places. One of my discs needed Kyphoplasty and Dr. Blackburn performed the surgery 11 months after I fractured it. When I woke up after the procedure the pain I had prior to surgery was gone. I would do it again if I ever had this problem again. Love Dr. Blackburn!
