I have been an active member of our Lakeshore community for the past 30 years. I have served on a number of local and state-wide non-profit boards to support organizations that provide services to improve the lives of the community members they serve. I enjoy participating and viewing sporting activities of all types, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I am married and have two adult children.My philosophy on the counseling process is that effective therapy requires an authentic human connection. Psychotherapy is a client-centered process, addressing the person's individual values, perspectives, and strengths. A treatment plan is developed from the client's perspective to achieve their desired outcome in a brief and solution-focused manner. When appropriate, family involvement assists the client in making meaningful changes in the context of their role within meaningful relationships.
