Dr. Brian James Carr, MD

Dr.Carr gave me my life back honestly I can't say enough great things about this man. Just call and schedule an appointment I promise he will not disappoint you. I was referred to Dr.Carr by a family friend. She told me how he does this nerve block before sugery and how much it helped her. This was her 2nd knee sugery another sugeron had done her 1st one. She told me it made a huge difference the nerve block she did not have this done by the 1st sugeron. I was very interested in this nerve block so I made an appointment and met with Dr.Carr. I was so very happy after meeting with him I knew right away he was going to do my surgeries. He took his time with me never rushed me answered all my questions. He gives you his phone number and encourages you to call him anytime day or night holiday or not and he will be there if you need him. He was in my home after my 2nd sugery because he was worried I was having an issue. I am great and very happy to say both my knees are healing very… well and I am standing straight up and my right knee is completely flat and my left one is almost there. Thank you Dr.Carr it is just so amazing to be walking again. Don't wait any longer just give him a call go meet him and you will see for your self what I am talking about. I want everyone to know how great he is because I don't believe you can find anyone like this man he is just that incredible. He also has the most amazing staff everyone is so nice and helpful. That is it just call you will be very happy you did.

A few years ago while I was in Mesquite,I fell and had a severe arm break. Dr. Carr probably won't remember me because it was an unusual event. Anyway, Dr. Carr was so passionate and treated me with such kindness. He took the time to sit with me and my husband while we were waiting for me to enter surgery. I just completed surgery with Dr. Carr, and he blew all my expectation out of the water. I broke my leg a week ago, and was advised to see an orthopedic surgeon, as my break seemed a nasty one to my primary doctor. I totally lucked out when he recommended me to see Dr. Carr. I expected to be seen and fixed to the best of a surgeons ability, but I did not expect how good the experience would be with Dr. Carr. First of all, Dr. Carr was a surgeon for the U.S. Army, deployed in the Middle East to help restore bodies and hopes of the fine men and women over there. When I thought about it for a minute I realized there probably is no better training ground on earth for an orthopedic surgeon. It is well known the outstanding job they do over there reconstructing our soldiers in the most dire of cases. Surgeons there are probably able to handle the largest diversity of cases, as they need to think out of the box and come up with creative and highly advanced medical procedures to give… those that deserve it the best chance of maximum recovery. In short, I would think it safe to say Dr. Carr is most likely a world-class orthopedic surgeon. Well it turns out his surgery skills are only a part of his package. He is also just a great guy. From the minute he walks in to greet you he just exudes positivity, friendliness, kindness and caring. He was unbelievably patient in answering every question in detail. He’s a great listener, is empathetic, and does a wonderful job putting the patient at ease. It didn’t take long to develop full trust and confidence in Dr. Carr. Any trepidation that resided in me when I was told by my primary doctor I’d need surgery, very quickly turned into a feeling of wow I really think I lucked out in finding America’s best surgeon to do this for me. My impressions of Dr. Carr are not only held by me alone. When I got to the hospital for pre-surgery, every person I dealt with, no less than 6 different nurses, would have eyes light up when I told them Dr. Carr would be doing my surgery. Their first reaction was quite consistent - he’s such a great surgeon and just a great guy. He definitely leaves a positive impression on all those around him. Oh and before the surgery the Dr. gives us his personal cell phone, inviting us to call anytime for any reason through my recovery. And the next morning, he texts us at home to follow up and see how we’re doing. What surgeon does this? Wow. On a final note: After meeting Dr. Carr and scheduling my surgery, my insurance company flaked out and let me know there would be extra charges from the hospital we had chosen to do the surgery. I could have gone to a different hospital, which would have needed me to change my surgeon. I felt so strongly about Dr. Carr I decided to pay cash instead of bill my insurance. That’s how strongly you will likely feel too I would think. And btw the cash prices are so reasonable for a world-class surgeon, you would be surprised like I was. If folks knew how good their experience would be down here in our gorgeous Las Vegas with Dr. Carr I’d bet they’d be flying in from other states and other countries. Well as you can I’m now a big fan of Dr. Carr. I honestly can’t imagine doing better for an orthopedic surgeon. He made this experience absolutely as good as it could have been. Aside from my own stupidity in breaking my leg originally, I redeemed myself by choosing Dr. Carr to do my surgery. You would be glad you did as well, I’m sure.

I needed a hip replacement and chose Dr. Brian Carr. I am so glad I did. He is very personable and made me feel comfortable while I was going through a scary situation of not being able to walk. He spent as much time as I needed and didn't rush in and out of the room. He actually got up on the table where I was sitting to explain and discuss what the procedure would be with me. I went to hospital for surgery and he explained to my family and I exactly what to expect and showed us all my x-rays and educated my family of what was going on in my hip and made everyone at ease. The surgery went smoothly and was able to get up and walk with a walker to restroom with ease. Didn't even need assistance, to the nurse surprise. He came in the next morning and probably spent about 45 min talking to me and my husband and physical therapy about my surgery and wanting to know how I was feeling. Stayed to see how well I could get up and walk and even put my ted hose on for me. I have had… this surgery done on the other hip and it went well too, but this one seems less painful than last and I was up and about with this one to use restroom right away without needing help. Nurse was there, I just jumped up before she knew it, and was shocked. lol. I would totally recommend him to anyone that would ever ask me and if I ever over hear anyone needing an ortho, I will jump in and tell them about my experience. His bedside manner is second to none.

I could not have asked for a better surgeon. He truly cares about his patients. After multiple surgeries performed by other medical professionals Dr. Carr is by far the best surgeon I have ever had! After several unsuccessful knee surgeries, Dr. Carr repaired all of the damage and issues caused from previous surgeries and reinjures. If I ever have to have another surgery, Dr. Carr will be #1 on the list.

Dr. Carr is amazing! He's been there for me to help with finding all the doctors I've needed to see & has been there for me when ever I needed him! He's also done surgeries on my husband for multiple things & has great outcomes from it! He's the best that's all...
