Dr. Brian James Cassidy, MD

Misdiagnosed my husband and disappeared during a crucial part of his treatment. And that was only a week later that he moved to a new office with no warning whatsoever.

I can't believe the foolish old woman who rated this physician's care 1 star because they changed insurance and their bill wasn't covered. And the Dr had the audacity to not call them up about it. Do you know for a fact he was even told this? The review is about his care, you knucklehead. I'm giving a 4 star rating though I haven't ever met him to try to level the field.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Brian Cassidy since his first year practicing medicine. He was and is still an excellent doctor. Back when Dr. Brian first started, he called all his patients the day after he saw them to see how they were doing. From the begining my husband felt very comfortable with him. Being about the same age and having children about the same ages, my husband finally found a doctor that he could relate to. I no longer had to beg him to make and keep his scheduled appointments. After over 20 years as a patient, our health insurance changed. Although I tried, my husband refused to see any doctor other than Brian Cassidy. Even though he could have gone to another doctor for a $10.00 co-pay, he insisted on going to ONLY Brian. Once we received a bill for almost $200.00, I repeatedly asked the billing office to ask Dr. Brian if he would adjust our bill since our insurance would pay nothing. We all know that insurance companies have set amounts… that they pay doctors. I didn't want a free ride, but had hoped for a reasonable discount for an over 20 year patient. The Dr. Brian who once called all patients every day, did not even have a moment to consider a minor adjustment to his fee for a man who raved about HIS doctor for over 20 years. It is sad that the same doctor who cared for my husband's health from the begining of his practice, has broken his heart after 20 years.

Dr. Brian Cassidy has been my mother's doctor for years, she has always spoken so highly of him. Today I went with my mother to an appointment, and I was so impressed by his professionalism, caring attitude, thoroughness and genuine concern. Dr. Cassidy took his time, and did not rush us, and spent a lot of time listening to us. He did not dismiss our concerns. Excellent doctor!

Always gives full consideration to your current problem as well as general physical health. Able to give value to individual through his concern.

The receptionist is awful! I was told I needed to reschedule my appointment that I had made 3 MONTHS prior due to their computer system crashing. When I told her I could not come the next week (the day the computer rescheduled me after the crash), she said oh well, not my problem. I will never go back because of her and will tell anyone I know to stay away because of her.

Left his office and drove my wife directly to the hospital and had her admitted. Lung problem. At the time it was the correct thing to do.
