Dr. Brian Seth Cohen, MD

I had a total hip replacement with Dr. Cohen. I liked him and for the most part he responded to my questions prior to surgery. Post surgery was another thing entirely. The surgery incision is a jagged rough looking scar. I ended up with a very painful surgical site infection for about ten weeks that required me to remain on pain meds longer than promised. Additionally, during recovery I went in weekly to receive antibiotic injections to resolve the infection. On each of the subsequent post op visits I saw Dr. Cohen briefly twice and his nurses all other times. My overall opinion is the surgery was sloppily done resulting in the infection and a longer recovery time. Incidentally, it has taken me years to learn what the exact product is he placed in me and even today I am still not certain.

Having Dr Cohen perform any operation under his expertise umbrella will be the best decision you can ever make. He's thorough, very detailed, and his "bedside manner" is unmatched by any Dr I've ever had before. Dr Cohen did a total hip replacement, robot assistance. I feel fantastic! He basically laid out exactly how it was gonna lay out, all my pains, what they would be after the operation and the climb I had to be back better than normal. He's absolutely one of the best in his (every) Fields. Get a referral for him to look at your issues, he's your answer. Thank you Dr. Cohen, you were awesome.

Dr. Cohen recently repaired a torn meniscus that the MRI didn’t show. Thank goodness he didn’t give up on me and he did the surgery and found the problem and fixed it. He was even in the OR helping them to get things ready for my surgery. It was a very calming feeling knowing the doctor cares enough to make sure everything is ready. I was teasing him as I was going under that is service. Dr. Cohen has preformed surgery on 4 of my immediate family members and we won’t trust anyone else. He’s amazing at what he does and he takes great care of his patients. Ohio Health is an amazing hospital too. My husband bragged how nice and how well they take care of people.

He did my MPFL knee surgery and he did an amazing job

On Feb 11th I had surgery for a rotator cuff repair,bicep tear,and shoulder decompression. Dr. Cohen did a great job,and I have had minimal pain from day 1. I went back to work about 3 weeks later,as a truck driver(flatbed). I have pretty much 100% use now. I highly recommend Dr.Cohen. Thank you sir!

Horrible doctor. My surgeries with him caused me to have a infection and 5 knee surgeries in the same knee. Luckily a dr in Cincinnati was able to fix his mistakes

I have had both my hips replaced by Dr. Cohen and not only is he compassionate, he explained all that would take place, did a great job with the surgeries and through PT helped me to a speedy recovery.

I really like Dr. Cohen, he has a Great bed side manner!!!

I'd recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone. Straight to the point, accurately diagnoses and corrects the problem at hand and sends you on the way. He is by far the best surgeon in this area. Top notch! The amount of time he spends with you as a patient is minimal, he knows what needs done and he does it with accurate speed.
