Brian D. Haeussner, DMD
Brian was born and raised in Orange Park, Florida. He graduated from Clay High School in 1999. He attended University of Florida for his undergraduate degree and went on to graduate from UF’s College of Dentistry in 2007.
After dental school, Brian joined the United States Air Force Dental Corps. He was accepted into a one year residency program at Travis Air Force Base in California. In 2008 he graduated from the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and became a staff dentist at Keesler AFB in Mississippi for two years treating the base’s medical group.
After three years as an Air Force dentist, Brian came back home to Orange Park in 2010 and joined the family dental practice. He grew up in his dad’s dental office and always knew he wanted to be a dentist. In junior high he worked in the family practice filing records and in high school he did lab work and sterilization. During college he also volunteered at Shands Hospital. While in dental …school Brian received the Outstanding Student Award from The American Academy of Cranio-Facial Pain. In his AEGD residency he presented a lecture on Temporomandibular Disorders and a Table Topic on Trigeminal Neuralgia at the California Dental Assocation. For his hard work and his role in implementing Team Dentistry at Keesler, Brian was awarded The Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. To quote Brigadier General Kornum, “The distinctive accomplishments of Captain Haeussner while serving his country reflect credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.”
Brian is a member of Clay County Dental Society, Northeast District Dental Association, Florida Dental Assocation and American Dental Assocation. Brian is continuously taking new CE courses to be able to give patients the best treatment possible.
