Dr. Brian Douglas Hale, MD

Dr Hale is great - very thorough but doesn’t rush time with his patients. He also listens carefully which is a lost art in medicine these days.

Dr. Hale has been my urologist for 28 years. He detected and surgically removed my bladder cancer in 2004. Via careful monitoring, it has been in remission for 22 years. In 2025, Dr. Hale detected early prostate cancer and has guided me through advanced diagnoses and radiation treatments during the past year. At 86, my outlook is very positive, thanks to Dr. Hale.

I was apprehensive about my first urology visit. Dr. Hale and his staff put me at ease. The front desk helped us with insurance issues, the nurse checked our meds and Dr. Hale instilled my confidence with his knowledge and assurance. I’m going back in two weeks for a more thorough checkup on my plumbing.

I had a vasectomy done by Dr. Hale and he did a terrific job of keeping me calm. I opted against gas because I don’t like how it makes me feel but he used plenty of local numbing and kept conversation going to keep it light and calm. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hale to anyone looking to have that procedure done.

If your parent is still complaining of suffering in any way around his/her bladder issues, get a second opinion IMMEDIATELY!!! My father suffered terribly for years under Dr. Haley's guidance. Once we got a 2nd opinion, the new Dr., who didn't even want to accept us, because of Dr. Haley's prominent reputation, was astonished to find that Dr. Haley didn't prescribe the EXTREMELY common medication needed for one of these very common issues. Dr. Haley also performed a procedure on my father, who was in his 90's, after telling us beforehand, at a previous appointment, that he was too old to have to go through anything like that. This caused my father to get an infection, go to the hospital, then rehab, only to completely lose his ability to walk, move into a nursing home, where he eventually died! I can only imagine this Dr. hated my father for some erroneous reason, because my father was the greatest man on this planet, by far, a real true gentleman.

My appointment was ay10:20am and I didn’t see the doctor till 11:45am, the staff was very nice and apologize for the long wait.
