My appointment was for 10:30 am and I made it two weeks in advance so I could arrange my work schedule around it. When I got there I was called in pretty quickly to get my X-ray but then they put me back in the waiting room. After about 45 minutes the lady at the service desk was walking around checking on people that had been sitting there awhile. I told her that my appointment was for 10:30, it was now almost 11:30, and that I would have to leave by noon in order to make a 12:30 work meeting. They ended up calling me back pretty soon after, and then I waited in the treatment room until 11:56 when Dr. Ladner finally came in. I told him he had four minutes or I could reschedule. He took a quick look at my knee, told me he really couldn’t do or see anything without an MRI, but that he’d call me at 4:00 that day to get on the schedule for that. He also told me that he’d make recommendations and a treatment plan “as if I was his sister.” Not surprising, I have not received the MRI phone… call and it’s been nearly 24 hours. I hope this means he doesn’t treat his sister this way- kept waiting almost an hour and a half and then not getting a promised phone call so I can take next steps quickly towards getting my knee better. If that’s the case, I feel sorry for his sister.

Total knee replacement indicated. Dr. Ladner is authoritatively competent & completely candid. He is very patient-centric & his support staff is stellar.
