His demeanor grows on you overtime. He's a very good surgeon which is more important, but makes a person feel more like a number and not a human, which is where medical is going now.

While waiting for the video meeting, my laptop broke. I switched to a minimac with the monitor w/o video camera. I can see him and hear him but he could not see me. He was kind enough to call me by phone so we could video conference. I appreciate his patience and his judgement.

I thought Dr. Louie was wonderful, patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. He put me at ease concerning my issue. His staff was great also. Thank you so much!

Dr Louie performed a thymectomy on me 9 years ago. He suggested radiation treatment afterwards to be certain the cancer was gone and I have been coming back for CT scans as suggested to make sure the tumor didn't come back. Thankfully it didn't. He told me about a study that tracked MG patients who did and didn't have radiation and I am so thankful that I followed all of his recommendations. Over the years he always took time to answer my questions and provide me with information on how to live the best life I could as a person with MG. I have complete trust in the care that I received from Dr Louie and would highly recommend him.
