His demeanor grows on you overtime. He's a very good surgeon which is more important, but makes a person feel more like a number and not a human, which is where medical is going now.

While waiting for the video meeting, my laptop broke. I switched to a minimac with the monitor w/o video camera. I can see him and hear him but he could not see me. He was kind enough to call me by phone so we could video conference. I appreciate his patience and his judgement.

Dr Louie is knowledgeable and compassionate. He took the time to listen to my concerns. The explanations of future testing needed and of possible surgery procedures were detailed and easy to understand. I feel very confident that I am receiving the very best care for my condition.

Very impressed and satisfied with Dr Louie"s demeanor, knowledge and his style in presenting the surgical issue and the surgical resolution to my somewhat unusual presentation. Dr Louie performed a thymectomy on me 9 years ago. He suggested radiation treatment afterwards to be certain the cancer was gone and I have been coming back for CT scans as suggested to make sure the tumor didn't come back. Thankfully it didn't. He told me about a study that tracked MG patients who did and didn't have radiation and I am so thankful that I followed all of his recommendations. Over the years he always took time to answer my questions and provide me with information on how to live the best life I could as a person with MG. I have complete trust in the care that I received from Dr Louie and would highly recommend him.
