Dr. Brian Mcwhorter, DO

I came to Dr. McWhorter after suffering with shoulder pain for about 1 year. I thought it could be a rotator cuff but found out it was arthritis. Gave me an option of a shot or surgery....I chose the shot and have been pain free with range of motion back for 6 months. Will be back again when the shoulder hurts again.

I can't see why anyone would give a doctor a number rating without leaving a comment. They are all cowards, spineless cowards. After 2 1/2 years of pain and discomfort, I finally found a doctor that could help me. All the so called specialist and family doctors kept telling me it was my back that was causing all my pain and sentenced me to a walker. I finally found Dr. Mcwhorter and my hip replacements went well and I was off hiking within 6 to 8 months. When he replaced both of my hips he used a robotic arm to cut the bone and replace the hip joints with metal joints. My recovery was fast and the incision was half the size of other friends who had the same surgery. I liked his bedside manner and he is extremely knowledgeable about his procedures and methods. His staff is efficient and courteous.

Dr. Brian McWhorter is an excellent orthopaedic surgeon! I have had left & right hip replacement surgeries done by him with wonderful results! He & his office staff, as well as, N.P. Suzanne O'Rourke are ALL compassionate & caring. They explain procedures & answer questions in a relaxed & comfortable atmosphere. I had a lot of anxiety approaching the first surgery & Dr. McWhorter set me at ease. All concerns were addressed & all went well both times. He uses the latest technology & procedures so my recovery came quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Brian McWhorter & staff to anyone!
