Dr. Brian Jay Rosenberg, MD

Performed PKR on left knee. Was moving operated leg in recovery. He is thorough, caring and focused. He's busy but still cares. My knee healed fast, no cane after 3 days. Hope he's around a long time! 63 year old female.

He skipped my annual checkup citing that it's not required and after two years he said I need to check my cholesterol and other kinds of stuff. I called Lahey office for a prescription refill and to my surprise, the operator asked me to call 911 as it was a Sunday. This hospital is a big scam. they just want money. I seriously doubt the expertise of this doctor. I am not sure how other doctors are, but Rosenberg is always in a big rush during your annual and even if you say you say you have certain problems, he will ask you to schedule an appointment for a later date.

i'm glad that dr. Rosenberg has helped a lot of people, i'm just one of the few that have pain in my left knee still after 4 years, good luck people.

it's been 2 and half years since my left knee was totally replaced and it still hurts.

I had knee replacement back on 8-8-13, it still gives me trouble to this day, 1-9-16

Dr. Rosenberg is such an artist in his work. He brought light back into my life with 2 new hips. I can't say enough wonderful things about he, his staff and all of the folks at St. Luke's Hospital!

Riding and working with horses has been my career for 35 yrs. When I was told I needed to have my left hip replaced, I was devastated. I researched and talked to 3 different surgeons. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Rosenberg and his team at St. Lukes hospital. Dr. Rosenberg impressed me with his total focus on my situation, incredible attention to detail and willingness to answer all questions thoroughly. His team is able to be both professional and compassionate. Thanks to his expertise with the anterior approach, I'm 10 weeks out from surgery and my left hip/ leg is better than it has been in 10 years! I'm riding comfortably! Dr. Rosenberg has given me my life back!

You will not find a better surgeon than Dr. Rosenberg! I had a total hip replacement at age 45 due to old football injuries. It was amazing how fast I recovered and now three years post op, I am more active than ever. Just recently started bike riding and am enjoying life. Now, after reading another review here, I experienced similar symtoms with the opposite leg about 2 months post surgery. After researching and speaking with Dr. Rosenberg, the opposite side from surgery can have these occurences. It is due to the fact that we have compensated for the "hurt side" of our bodies for so long and have placed more strain on our "good side" that when surgery is done, it takes awhile for our other side to completely come back into balance. I had been walking for a limp for so long that I was 1.5 inches shorter on my left than right. After surgery, the nerves and muscles on the right took time to realign with my left. Just because we don't receive an outcome that we are looking for… does not mean the doc didn't something wrong. I can not speak more highly of Dr. Rosenberg. He told me in 20 to 25 years I may need my hip replaced again as it will wear out. So when I am 65 or 70, I hope he is still in practice!!!
