Dr. Brian Schmidt

I really wish I would have went to a different surgeon. He is rude and arrogant and he left me with a massive infection and hole in my chest after a lumpectomy. I’ve been in the er twice in a week post op and he has refused to answer of the times the emergency rooms called him to look at the open wound. So I am now stuck with a nasty scar the rest of my life because of what he has done to me

This man is pretty much invisible to contact! Been trying for a little over a month to contact him about a bill through a company HE LONGER WORKS FOR AND HASNT BEEN since my surgery Sept. 2016! Now I get a COLLECTIONS NOTICE 2 YEARS LATER!!! Stay far away or he will scam you out of money or send you to collections as well!

My wife saw Dr. Schmidt about removal of a cyst. He said he'd take it out in 2 weeks and the hospital would call. At beginning of 3rd week we started to call Dr Schmidt's office. You get an answering service. We left 3 messages over the next 2-1/2 weeks but received no responses. After a total of 5 weeks we just dropped in at the office where we knew he would be on Fri. He was there and asked when she wanted to do the surgery. She said next Thurs. He said fine and that the hospital would call on Mon or Tues. There was no call on Mon, so Tues afternoon my wife called the hospital. They had never heard of her and knew nothing about a surgery with Dr. Schmidt. Needless to say the surgery did not take place on Thurs. At this point we can't even reach Dr Schmidt to tell him he's been fired! He's a really nice guy, but the business part of his practice leaves much to be desired.

I wish I could give him 100 stars. I had surgery and he was a pro from start to finish!
