Dr. Briani K. Jackson, MD

Very bad experience with Dr. Briani Jackson. I have a life threatening illness and in my opinion she treated me very poorly. She basically told me that she was too busy to see me again even though I only wanted a follow up appointment in about 2 months. She is so busy and BOOKED. "It is what is is" I was told. Very uncaring, unprofessional and rushed. Her reception staff is even worse. Very cold and unhelpful in my opinion. Sad to say but they appear uncooperative and even hostile. It is hard to believe that this is going on there and how they treat their patients. I am writing this review in an attempt to warn others so that they will not expose themselves to similar situations. There are a lot of good doctors out there. Unfortunately, based upon my personal experience, I must TRUTHFULLY conclude that she is not one of them. I honestly feel sorry for any of her patients or any one that has to go to that practice or clinic at Unity Family Medicine at Country Village on 1100 Long Pond… Rd. Please consider getting a good Primary Care Physician that will treat you with dignity and respect. As I felt that I was not treated that way by her or her staff. Patients have the right to be well treated and should be absolutely comfortable in changing Drs./ PCPs if they are treated poorly and should advise others so that they are aware.

Wait time is ridiculously long, she rushes through the appointment. She has never given me a physical other than blood work but even that isn’t very thorough. Her nurse called and left a rude message that I have COPD in which then after having to see a Hematology doctor and a Pulmonary doctor, turns out I did not have COPD. Also because of her lack of thoroughness, she never checked my glucose or A1C. I have a new doctor now who ordered a full physical and turns out I’m Diabetic. Dr Jackson never told me once about being pre diabetic. I’m so glad I found a new doctor I can trust with my health.

Dr Jackson greeted me warmly, but it was all downhill from there. She cut me off, interrupted me, brushed off my questions with non-answers, and was uninterested in even my most recent history. I realize doctors have very little time for their patients due to insurance constraints, but this was ridiculous.

I've been concerned seeing Drs as I'm new to the area. But seeing her eased my mind. She took her time and was very helpful is resolving an ongoing issue.

Excellent Dr. ! She addressed all of my issues in a concerned and warm bedside manner . She listened to me and gave me time to explain my issues . She also ordered appropriate tests and explained the reasons for ordering the tests . I am very happy with her as one of my doctors .

If this is your doctor, find another one before it's too late.

Terrible bedside manner. Doesn't listen to get patients

This Dr is arrogant and unfeeling. She is also inexperienced in peds. When my baby was a newborn she was constipated for ten days. This woman told me to give her a warm bath and run her stomach. I chose to give her prune juice instead. When her bowels finally passed she was in so much pain. I could have floored the doc. She's just not good.

Dr. Briani Jackson does not listen to what her patients tell her. She under minds very serious conditions & causes unnecessary stress.

Inexperienced. Cannot handle complex health issues. Will be great with more experience.
