Dr. Brittany Anne Kammerich, MD

Dr. Kammerick is the best primary care physician I’ve ever had. Columbia, Mo has so many great doctors/surgeons, but none better than Dr. Kammerich.

Dr. Kammerich is wonderful. She is compassionate, a good listener, and takes time with her patients. Unfortunately, though, I am looking for a new primary care as it is difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Kammerich outside your annual checkup. I had an injury and got an appointment due to a cancellation. Dr. Kammerich asked that I come back in two weeks if it wasn’t better. When I tried to get an appointment two weeks later, after having to go to the ER because of complications, I was told by the receptionist that I couldn’t get an appointment for six weeks. I mentioned that I was seeking an appointment at the direction of Dr. Kammerich and the ER physician. Didn’t help. Luckily I came down with strep the day I had my annual exam already scheduled or I would’ve had to go to urgent care for that. I don’t go to the doctor often but when I need to, I prefer a doctor who has availability within a few days. If you don’t need that, then Dr. Kammerich is great, just doesn’t work for me.

Don't bother trying to use her for your primary care doc, you will not be able to get an appt even after you are an established patient. I've been told multiple times that it's a three month wait to get in with her, and when I've explained that I was very sick and needed an emergency visit, was told to go to Urgent Care. Extremely rude staff and I sincerely wish I hadn't wasted so much time pretending I had a primary care doc when they refused to even see me (maybe once or twice a year, I'm not sick a lot).
