She graduated with her BSN in 2013 from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She gained her experience as a RN in a variety of settings including mental health. She later earned her DNP as an adult gerontology nurse practitioner (AGACNP) in 2019. As an AGACNP, she worked as a nocturnist in hospital medicine for one year when she realized her passion for mental health. She became dual certified obtaining her post master’s certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2022 from Herzing University.
