Extremely Unprofessional and Frustrating Experience I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Washington University School of Medicine Psychiatry at 3009 N Ballas Rd, Suite 141A. To begin with, they do not answer their phone — I called multiple times for help with directions and received no response. The directions they provided were completely inaccurate, sending me the wrong way down Ballas Avenue, which caused me to arrive late despite following their instructions exactly. After driving over 1.5 hours, I arrived to find no one else in the waiting room, yet they refused to see me due to being a few minutes late — a delay that was caused entirely by their poor communication and lack of helpfulness. For a psychiatry office that is supposed to help people with anxiety and mental health, their approach was incredibly rigid, dismissive, and inconsiderate. They also claim there is “plenty of parking,” but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I had to walk nearly half a mileto… reach the office, which only added to the stress of the situation. It’s unacceptable that in today’s healthcare environment — where patients are paying high premiums and out-of-pocket costs — this level of sloppy organization and disregard for patient experience is allowed to continue. This office showed a clear lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic operational competence. If you value your time, money, and mental well-being, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This experience only worsened the very issues I sought help for.
