Dr. Bruce Harrison Broecker, MD

From the moment I walked in the door with my child, no one greeted us. I walked up to the front desk and the lady did not even acknowledge me standing there. After asking if I could check my child in, the lady responded to me. When My child was called back, there was no "How are you", just a "Straight back". Though the doctor never said Hello either, I don't expect his staff to be courteous . I will take a Doctor with no bedside manner, but a rude staff is ridiculous. After the appointment we walked to the desk, before getting there, another staff member said "A coordinator will call you". I asked for my insurance card and ID, the same lady said " she has it at the front". I walked around the front and again stood there for a few minutes before she acknowledged me. She handed me my cards and I asked "Do I need to go ahead and pay my co-pay"? She then stated " I don't know, do you"? She then proceeded to look at her computer and I thought she was looking at my insurance info, but after… standing there for a few more minutes, I ask "IS that it", she did not even respond but just nodded. Rude, Rude, Rude office. I have worked in the medical field for 17 years and have never encountered such a horrible staff. Beware, you will not find anyone who enjoys there job in this place!

Dr Broecker took the extra time to completely explain our son's condition, and the options available to us. All of our questions were addressed during the appointment. He does not pressure you to make a decision on the spot, we were able to take our time in making a decision to have the outpatient surgery. The surgery went very well, our son's recovery went exactly as expected, post op instructions were very clear, and follow up care was top notch. We highly recommend Dr Broecker. To address other posts concerning bedside manner, we didn't experience anything negative in this area, even so, Id take skill and accuracy over bedside manner any day.

I very much appreciated Dr. Broecker and his entire staff! The customer service we received you just don't get in healthcare anymore. I would highly recommend this practice and use again in the future.

Absolutely the best. From the moment we walked in we were treated with the utmost respect. We understood what our son's surgery would be like and what to expect after. Dr. Broecker is knowledgeable and kind. We were in and out in less than an hour, something that was very impressive. I only wish that all doctors and offices operated the way that Dr. Broecker and Georgia Urology do. Very pleased! !

We were referred to doctor Broecker so we decided to use him and I do have to say his bedside manner is completely terrible. he doesn't talk to you he doesn't talk to your child he says this little problem is this what we're going to do and then he's out the door. however he is a wonderful surgeon. that being said my son now has some issues with bed wetting and I think that we will be finding another doctor to see.

he followed me while I was pregnant, and was present in the delivery room. My son was born with hydronrophosis w/extended megaureatuer. My son is now 21,iand because of the care, and surgery, my son is now thriving.

The staff was awesome however Dr. Broeker has a horrible bedside manner. He barely made eye contact, did not introduce himself, examined my baby without gloves (though he did wash his hands) and was not consoling to my baby when he saw his discomfort.

The doctor walked in the room, shook my hand and introduced himself. Looked at a few papers and then examined my son without gloves on. Simply said what the issue was and said that his assistant would call and schedule surgery and walked out of the room while talking to me. I left saying thank you, and he had given no response not even a "no problem" "thank you" "nice to meet you" or anything. I left with a ton of questions but didn't bother. I will go somewhere else instead. I am sure he is a great urologist and can perform a surgery no problem, but he really needs to work on his people skills. However, his office staff is very friendly.

Horrible bedside manner! Did not introduce himself, got huffy with my child because he could not pee while doctor was watching, and did not wash his hands upon entering or exiting room and did not wear gloves while examining my son's privates. Was not impressed at all!

Horrible bedside manner. Just blew me off like my daughter's problem was not that big of a deal. Did not even examine my daughter. We were out of his office within 10 minutes. We will be finding a new doctor.
