Dr. Bruce Brovender, MD

Dr. Brovender is an attentive, responsive and empathic physician. He has taken great care of my two girls for the past 8 years. As a physician myself, I can't thank another doctor enough for being available when one is in an emergency situation. Dr. Brovender was always there for us when we needed guidance and help the most. He was available, involved and concerned. Thank you!

The front line staff will at Global Pediatrics will take your insurance information when you arrive, but will not tell you that status until after the appointment has taken place. It came across to me as under handed and without care. If your insurance is not accepted for any reason, expect a bill for a few hundred dollars. The staff is completely apathetic; you will either pay it or be sent to collections. The coldness of the front office staff is evident. So please beware and more importantly be aware. On the Upper East Side there are simply better choices for your children.

Diagnosed a problem that nobody was able to diagnose. Everybody should have a doctor like Dr Brovender.

He withheld information from me as a parent and I did not receive it until I went up to pay an astronomical bill. Never again! Deceptive and did not show respect for me as a parent. Doesn't listen.

Dr. Brovender though sometimes quick to respond to the phone calls has a brush off attitude and never spends enough time to answer all questions in full. He is not "a thinking doctor", who would care enough to solve the problem or look deeper into it. If you need a robot who does it all by the book - you found your guy!

When I went to the office I only had to wait 5 minutes, and when I met him he was so nice, he kept on complimenting me. Then when my son was talking to me later he kept saying how much he like doctor brovender and he was so nice and he kept telling jokes.
