Dr. Bruce Neil Edwards, MD

Very disappointed in the care my husband just received from Dr. Edwards. My husband injured his knee over the weekend and was seen today for it, well at least that’s what it was SUPPOSED to be about. Instead, the doctor spent a majority of the appointment hounding my husband about having bariatric surgery (something my husband has discussed in grave detail with his endocrinologist, aka the doctor he visits for his weight and diabetes). The doctor also spent time dictating instead of having the actual conversation (in his dictations he said “we discussed”... no it wasn’t discussed he dictated in his notes and that was it...). Will never recommend Dr. Edwards, he was extremely unprofessional and claims he would “go to doctor he**” if he didn’t tell (hound) about bariatric surgery. He should probably go to doctor he** for not actually discussing the reason my husband was in the office as the only reason we know the next steps in the care for his knee (THE REASON WE WERE THERE) is thru the… dictation when he was talking to his computer and not us.

Doesn’t take the time to listen to his Patients. Does not do the type of surgery I want and when making the appointment they said I needed to talk with The Doctor about it. He was a total waste of my time. I am better then lowering my standards to him .

Give him a second chance. You might find him off-putting at first because he is very extroverted and talkative, but I am sure that he does know what he is doing. He settled down on the second appointment. He gave me options concerning bursitis; he prefers to be thorough. I was well-pleased. After the first appointment, I wasn't going again, but since I had a followup scheduled, I did. Now I'd go again if I have more problems.

Very rude and talks down to all he comes in contact with.

Dr Edwards has the worst bedside manner, perhaps he is too desensitized. He needs to work on comunication skills and professionalism. Comes off arrogant and outdated. When you no longer have passion for what you do and you lack compassion for your patients and his staff, it time to move on.

Dr. Edward is the best Orthupedic Surgery in Hagerstown, Md. He spend time with you to explain all details of your condiction you are having. And he's very kind, nice, andgreat sens of humor. There are other doctors should be like Dr. Edwards !!!! And have great bedside minders. I wouldn't go to another Orthapedic Surgery. ONLY HIM !!

Dr. Edwards is an excellent doctor. Very skilled with an amazing bedside manner.

I had a total knee replacement. Within six days it was like I never had knee surgery. No need for walkers canes or pills. Recovery in six day. Unreal!!! Love this man.

Dr. Edwards is an amazing Dr. I was a patient from 1986 to 1997. I left the area for several years an on return I would not go to anyone else. He is compassionate, thorough, funny and an amazing surgeon.

Dr. Edwards has a very patient friendly attitude and is extremely informative and thorough in is information and patient care.
