Dr. Bruce Leonard Morgenstern, MD

This guy was one of the worst doctors I've ever dwelt with. Put me on meds that made it so I could not work. The refused fill out forms for me to work 1/2 time tell I'm weened off the meds. Went to another Neurologist that did it without question. Morgenstern is a joke. I would NOT recommend doing ANY business with this moron.

He is very thorough and pretty much saved the life of a family members who had been misdiagnosed and was being treated with the wrong set of medications. He is prudent and not one to overprescribe or go with aggressive treatment initially - perhaps thats why his ratings are not all 5 star, as high as he rightfully deserves?

Completely misdiagnosed my husband. My husband presented with ALS symptoms in May but Morgenstern couldn't be bothered doing the research. Called him the mystery man and sent us to an Ear, Nose and throat specialist. It was finally an otolaryngologist who called him to report that my husband had ALS. Because of the 4 month delay, we lost precious time in slowing the progression. For a neurologist unable to recognize these symptoms is unconscionable. Would never want anyone to go through this experience.

I’m actually following up on a review where I panned his snap diagnosis and a host of bedside issues. He diagnosed my friend as having migraines caused by anxiety and suggested a psychiatrist (after seeing all the imaging). It turns out my friend was having a series of mini-strokes and may now have permanent damage. AVOID this Dr if you value your health.

His condescending, insensitive, arrogant approach was shocking.

I took a friend to Blue Sky Neurology after having good experiences with Blue Sky in the past with my wife. Bruce Morgenstern was the Dr. provided to my friend. We saw him for migraines...he gave a snap diagnosis of the migraines being caused by anxiety and provided prescriptions to manage anxiety and prevent future migraines - but absolutely nothing to abort the current migraine and symptoms that had been going on for DAYS (almost total paralysis, loss of sight, multiple other symptoms). He and his office did not respond to repeated requests to help abort the migraine beyond suggesting the ER which she had already been to and was released three times. Blue Sky did respond once to suggest that we keep an eye on BP - which we had told him was a concern from the beginning. I can't speak for Dr. Morgernstern's recommendations for prevention as we haven't made it that far. She is still completely disabled by this migraine after three weeks. Dr. Bruce Morgenstern has done NOTHING… to address the issue... In addition, his manner was professional, but a bit arrogant and condescending. He was dismissive of concerns brought forth by both the patient and myself. I would strongly recommend that anyone serious about getting better avoid Bruce Morgenstern and find a Dr. that is interested in helping...even if this means avoiding Blue Sky Neurology.

He was the most arrogant, condescending Dr. I have ever been to and have never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my entire life. I came to him with a straightforward problem, and he argued with me about a diagnosis that had already been made by two other doctors. When I pleaded with him to listen to me and provide care, he told me I needed anti anxiety medication and that he was the doctor and I should listen to him. He didn't consider any of my symptoms I had, and tried to force an inaccurate diagnosis on me. When I disagreed with him, he was condescending and rude. I would recommend that Blue Sky Neurology look into having him leave the practice.

Examined my stepson and showed he was disinterested in med history or anything other than getting us in and out. Very bad bedside manner.

Waste of time. He would only let me get through half my symptoms, did not let me explain onset, and did not read nor care about what other doctors I was working with had to say. He knew nothing about other conditions I have and little about medications I was taking, which is understandable, but was unintereted in learning anything about them. Quick to diagnose without sufficient testing outside of fingertips and reflexes and then brought out the sexist speach on anxiety. Refused to do more testing because I had "already been through so much already, and sometimes people with chronic conditions are oversensitive." Don't waste your time with him, he obviously needs to retire since he is too tired to work with his patients and just wants to get them out of his office.

Disrespectful, arrogant doctor. Period.
