Never in my search for help with seeing Dr.s has there been a more compassionate and educated man as Dr. Stark.He is not only educational and informative but also listens to the needs of his patients. He is considerate and approaches each patient with the upmost care, with is hard to come by these days, when most Doctors just want to get you in and out with the most minimal time spent diagnosing what really ails you.I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a true and caring Physician! One of the best Doctors I have ever met, and am so fortunate to have him and treating me for over 20 years. He is simply the best!

I am 65 years old and have never met a Dr. like Dr. Stark. My first impression was that of a disheveled unprofessional person. His only interest was in the meds I was taking. I couldn’t get a word in with his constant interrupting, very rude. I have several compound fractures in my back and neck as well as nerve pain in my thumb and right leg which shoots down to my swollen knee, all of which would be an easy 10 without the medication I take. I hope that surgery will alleviate this pain. I believe the quality of life to be more important than the silly medication I take to make life bearable. Dr. Stark didn’t give me the opportunity to address these medical problems or look at my MRI results. What a Doctor. My Grandfather and Great-Grandfather were both well known Doctors and authors therefore I believe I know what I’m talking about. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere unless you don’t mind high BP and a wasted trip. By the way, this is the first time I have ever written a review.… Good luck....

I have been with dr.Stark for almost 20 years??? since he worked at lakeside,my job changes insurances so there always HMO,insurance that he does not take,i have tried to find a Dr.for my pain that i suffer for many many years,I just realized that there is no other Dr.like him,i continue sometimes to see him and I paid out of pocket,I tried to get PPO insurance but its to expensive, in the past 3 or 4 months i have seen 3 Doctors that just ask me questions make me have lab work just to make sure I'M not taking any drugs they don't seem to care about me at all,because of my HMO my insurance always request a prior auth.well I have to be calling and calling the office ,calling the insurance because other Dr's don't care if i get my medications ,Dr.Stark has gone above and beyond everything i ever would expected.Dr.Stark is the only one that has easing my pain and he has help me when things go bad and go down,like when i was looking for other Dr's i came back to see him crying ,i was… telling him how other Dr's did not care for y problem like he does,you know other dr's simply just treat pt's with medications,and they don't have the most important thing wich Dr.Stark has,he has help me move on with my life and always have motivating words and inspirational thoughts,and this is why people should see Dr.Stark.your life will be in great hands and excellent care,thank you so much for being Dr.Stark,Im trying to look for another insurance that you will take but so far there too expensive,and i cry for this almost every day,i don't feel comfortable with them,i need you I need to see you again,im already 60 years old so i hate all this new Dr.that i have to go see and don't know anything about me and they dont look nice at me like you do,your the best Dr. God bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been a patient for over six years. I am 54 years old and can say without doubt, Dr. Bruce is absolutely the best in every way. As a patient with chronic cervical (neck) pain, he has treated me with the most effective drug therapy and he is the most compassionate Physician I have ever been to. As long as you are completely honest with him, you will be treated with respect and compassion beyond that which you have ever experienced. Just don't lie, or play games like the typical Narco-Fiend! If you need help to quit your addiction to Narcotics - He is the best and most qualified doctor in So. Cal.

I don't know what staff a reviewer was talking about, But Dr Starks staff is compassionate, professional, and very, very busy. If you had to work 8 hors in this busy office, your patientce would be tested, and you might get a little cranky, but not Dr Starks' reception team. They are professionals. They don't get cranky at 5:30PM. In ending, Dr Stark's amazing staff is awesome. No matter what the time you get there, you will be treated wth respect and kindness. I have never gone anywhere where I am treated as nicely as I am in Dr Stark's office.

Last year I would have rated this physician totally differently. Over the past year as business has increased the care has decreased. It is like you are part of an assembly line with only time to stop, write a prescription complain about the time that takes him and move on.
