Dr. Bryan Thomas Chambers, MD

I had been dealing with what I thought was horrible knee problems for about four years. I made an appointment with Dr. Chambers, and upon arriving, he was able to determine instantly that it was not my knees, but my hip. Other physicians, even those at OSU, told me it was my knees. I scheduled a total hip replacement, and had Cortizone injections in my arthritic knees and I am walking as if I am a teenager again. Do not go anywhere else if you have trouble with either your knees or your hip.

Dr. Chambers is very personable and he has 100% of my trust for care and for referrals.

They will give anyone a medical degree now. But it's up to the doctor to keep current in other fields than what he practices in. This doctor only likes to test elderly patients who can't complain about his work in a 10v years. He's more worried about his stats. I looked elsewhere for someone who was actually qualified and did a fantastic job; on both of my knees.

I would highly recommend Dr. Chambers. He explained everything in terms I understood. Did exceptional work and has a very precise plan for recovery. He’s easy to talk too. Again I would definitely recommend him.

Full knee replacement. Outstanding surgeon and team. I highly recommend and I am very pleased with the all aspects of the procedure.

Bryan replaced my knee over 10 years ago. I had ruined it playing football and was far too young to be having a knee replacement but there was no avoiding it at the end. He helped me for a few years with cortisone shots and some other treatment plans. I asked him how long I had and he told me "You will tell me when it is time." He was right on the money. The treatments stopped having any meaningful effect and I got the replacement scheduled. Now the operation is no walk in the park and the recovery is not much fun at all, but it is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I had forgotten what is was like to not be in constant pain and limping all of the time. I live a relatively active life and am on my feet for up to 13 hours a day at my job. I go on snowboarding trips to Colorado every year and hit runs at over 12,000 feet in up to 5 feet of powder (no exaggeration, Wolf Creek - Google it) and feel great the whole time. Definitely couldn't do that pre-replacement. The… only problem with Dr. Chambers is that he does such good work you never get to see him again.

Dr Chambers is the best of the best orthopedic surgeon in my opinion. I recommend him to anyone and everyone I know that needs orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Chambers was very honest about my diagnosis and x-rays. I really enjoyed his professionalism and his warmth. Very kind human being.

Despite providing copies of my medical records at my visit, this doctor told me that there was no way I’d had those previous surgeries and he thought I was full of bullsh$t. Every time I tried to provide my history and explain my situation, he interrupted me. He would ask a question and when I tried to answer, he would interrupt me... usually to tell me that he thought I was making it all up. This was the rudest orthopedist I have ever met and I’ve had 10+ orthopedic surgeries at various locations around the country as a result of my athletic career. Someone needs to teach him manners and remind him that just because something is unfamiliar to him doesn’t mean that the patient is lying. Maybe if he would let a person talk for 30 seconds without interruption, he might learn something.
