My Opinion on this doctor is I rather have this doctor permanently more than those wannabe doctors that decked out on their patients leaving them hanging without notices to give them ahead of time to find a another doctor.DrBryan D Hooker is really good doctor that cares about his patients very much.You can go by what you think about this doctor or you can listen what others say whether it’s good or bad.It’s on you.He will be my doctor for good.

He is one of the brightest physicians I know. He takes time to listen to you and obviously cares a great deal. He gets to the bottom of the medical problem and developed a plan immediately. He’s smart.

Dr hooker has been amazing . He's been the one to help me through thyroid cancer and help me loose weight . Wait time has been great the past 4 months . Connie is amazing ! Ladies up front ate very helpful and great .

After you visit Dr. Hooker, if you ever get to see the man, go on by the funeral home and make arrangements. If you are depending on this man for sound medical judgement. If you take the drug screen for a medication you have taken for years the bill??$ 900.00 from some crooks in St. Simons, Ga. By the way a top physician in Dunwoody does the same screening in house for? $25.00. Write your congressman about these knee jerk laws they passed this past year. Honest folks are suffering , can't get the necessary medication to live a productive life. Because of those who lie and get medication to sell. And yes half are on Medicaid that are still getting the meds they do not need only to sell.

Dr. Hooker is notorious for showing up late if he shows up at all, leaving his patients just hanging. He and his staff do violate the patient confidentiality laws by discussing your personal information in front of other patients. He and his staff treat most all of their patients like they are drug addicts when they only suffer from legitimate physical and mental issues. I too have experienced issues of having lab work getting mixed up with other patients or lost all together. Also, in a drug screen, they can't even tell the difference between cough syrup and opiods.

I have had to use Dr. Hooker for the past couple of years due to insurance reasons. I had blood work done, waited forever to get the results. I called and left messages, no one ever returned my call. I finally made another appointment, went in waited for hours, finally got to see the NP. No one could find my lab results so they did lab work again. After about 3 weeks and numerous messages, I finally got my lab results. When I got the statement from my insurance company, I had been billed twice. My last visit, I had to do a drug test because two months earlier I had to go to Dr. Hooker for something for anxiety due losing my son to suicide. When I went for a follow up, and to get refills for my medication, I had to do the drug test because he prescribed xanax. When he finally came in to the room, he was very snotty with me, giving me a lecture about hydrocodone pain pills, that they showed up in my drug screen. THERE IS NO WAY THIS WAS MY DRUG SCREEN! They had to have gotten my… drug screen mixed up with someone else's. If you haven't taken something like that, it's not going to show in a drug screen. So beware if you choose to go to this doctor's office, I know for a fact that they do get patient's test result mixed and switched around.

Saw the nurse practioner on Monday 12/18/10. After a 2 hour wait to see him I was told my new prescriptions would be called into my pharmacy my 6pm. They didnt get called in. For the past 3 days, BETWEEN my pharmacy and myself, I have called the doctors office 6 times to get my prescriptions called into the pharmacy. Finally 3 of them were called in for one tablet only with 12 refills instead of of a 30 day supply with 2 refills. The other 3 prescriptions have yet to be called in and I was supposed to leave for The Christmas holidays yesterday. This is unacceptable. The pharmacy said they have never seen anything like it. The doctors office has yet to return the pharmacists calls or my calls and I'm still waiting on my scripts. Save yourself a headache and don't go to North Georgia Primary Care in Jasper, GA!

usually a 2 hour wait, comes in when he feels like it . GOOD DOCTOR BUT my time is worth money too. His promptness stinks
