Dr. Bryan Min Kim, MD

Dr. Kim and his staff are excellent! He took wonderful care of me when I developed a retina problem, and I have been seeing him now for the past 5 years. He is very knowledgable, friendly, and compassionate. I never feel rushed, he listens to you and even asks me about my kids, which I think is amazing for him to remember even with all the patients he sees. Staff are friendly and helpful!

The experience we have had in the last 2-3 weeks with Dr. Kim has been horrible. He does not listen to patient questions, and if you are explaining something to him he interrupts you without a thought of being inconsiderate. There is no compassion at all from him regarding anything in the situation. If a patient is in pain expect him to tell you to see a neurologist. He would rather in his words not be “Flagged” than help a patient in pain even though he did the surgery. He and his staff are not gentle with the patients either during their appointments. If you have an early appointment like 9:15am expect to wait until 10:00am to be seen by him. He isn’t even in the office until then. The staff is horrible with communication. They have a patient portal but if you message on it like it is intended to do you get a call telling you from the staff you are not to message on the portal because they do not check it often enough and you are better off making a call instead. Even when you make a… call they still manage to mix up words by the time they speak with Dr. Kim and then a whole confusion happens. The waiting room is a joke. There is hardly any room and for how many people who have to sit in the waiting room between photos and appointments better off standing then sitting no space to sit. Needless to say we fired him from the care and found a better doctor.

Excellent doctor. Did a wonderful job on my eye and fixed my vision. Highly recommended.

I love Dr. Kim! He is such a great doctor and just as important, an awesome, caring person. He really puts his patients first.

Dr. Kim is the best! I had a really bad injury after I fell and hit my eye, and he did such a great job with my surgery, helping me get my vision back. He and his staff also so caring and nice!

Very kind, down to earth, and honest doctor! He is an excellent surgeon and really helped my vision. I don't trust anyone else with my eyes. Highly recommended!

Dr. Kim is an awesome doctor! My experience has been nothing but excellent. He has great bedside manner, cares about you as a person, and takes time to explain things and answer any questions you have. He is an amazing surgeon and saved the vision in my left eye after a retinal detachment. I have sent several friends and family to him as well and they all love him! Thanks, Dr. Kim!

DOES NOT HAVE PEOPLE SKILL TO COMMUNICATE WITH A PATIENT.....LOOKS QUITE RUDE..........VERY POOR

I had all the signs of a partially detached retina. Went to see Dr. Kim who told me it was cataracts and not a retina problem. Went to see another ophthalmologist for cataracts who said they were minor and didn't account for my deteriorating vision. Referred to another retina specialist who informed me that my retina was now fully detached and required surgery for which I am now scheduled

Dr. Kim is an incredibly kind and excellent doctor. He is really caring and an excellent surgeon. He took great care of me and saved my eye.
