Pick a different dermatologist! Dr. Steffes was very dismissive and didnt seen to care about the questions i had or the procedure he performed. It seemed like an inconvenience to him. Others have said that he just cares about the money and i definitely agree. His nurses also are inconsiderate and did not make me feel comfortable. I will never go to him again.

Went to this guy for years. There was a problem with my payment that took a week to resolve. I paid it. He allowed me to come in to my appointment the next time, and accused me of stealing from him, and said he would not treat me anymore. He could not have just called and said that? He made me come in so he could humiliate me. Unconscionable

I followed DR Burt Steffes from Fond du Lac to west Bend WI. With the excellent care and prompt service, it definitely is worth the 35 minute drive. Thomas D Baker

I seen Dr Steffes for a very small cyst on my jawline. I had seen a dermatologist about this cyst and he was just going to nick and drain it if antibiotics didn't alleviate it. Dr Steffes insisited on doing a punch biopsy ensuring me this would be the best cosmetic outcome and it would require a stitch. Well I ended up having 3 stitches and he did not include all the skin so I now have an indent, bump and hardened area. Turns out it was just an infected hair follicle that could have easily been nicked and drained. He also bursted the cyst upon cutting so was not able to get all the infection out which is why the area is now hardened. Do not want anyone else face to get messed up just so he can make some extra money on a procedure that is not necessary.

Dr. Steffes does a thorough job and is extremely competent at his diagnosis and surgical procedures. As he is no longer in Fond du Lac, how can he be located?
