Dr. C Andrew Schroeder, MD

What a scam. This guy wants $2500/month for concierge care for a family. On top of it he still bills your PPO health plan. Also, none of the other docs I see at Cedars refer to him. They refused to comment on the quality of his care but suffice to say we opted out of this scam.

Fantastic bedside manner; really knows me; reacts to my issues quickly with calmness and expertise; great life medical coach.

This doctor collected a full payment from the patient at the time of the appointment. Than he refused to bill the insurance, gave a patient a paper without a diagnosis code for insurance and told the patient to bill insurance on his own. It took many months for a patient to get all information from the doctor's office to be able to submit a claim to insurance. When the insurance sent the payment to the doctor instead of the patient, this doctor kept the money though a patient already paid in full at the time of the visit! It took months for a patient to get a refund from this doctor. Two years later this doctor billed the insurance again trying to collect a duplicate/second payment for the same appointment though he got already paid the first time. Avoid!

It was easy to get an appointment when I was sick. I did not feel like I was "squeezed in". The staff was efficient and nice. Dr. Schroeder gets an excellent recommendation as far as I'm concerned.

This is a young, "old school" doctor. He listens, he cares, and he's dedicated to diagnosing an ailment correctly. Very friendly and professional office staff. You want a good internist, or pulmonary specialist? This is your man.

I was referred to Dr. Schroeder by another physician, who asked me "Do you want someone close or the best?" I said the best and boy was he right. Dr. Schroeder has a great bedside manner, spent time explaining test results and was, generally, one of the best physicians I have ever seen. I highly recommend him!

I was from out of town on a trip. Dr. Schroeder helped me and gave me the medicine I needed. I got better during trip and enjoyed the rest of stay in Southern California. He told me that he does not charge travelers and wanted me to have a good holiday in America.

I had a good experience at Dr. Schroeder's office. He saw me on time and diagnosed my problem. He explained the treatment and gave me written instructions. I would definitely return in the future.

They don't make them like him anymore: Dr. Schroeder is patient, kind and a good listener. His relaxed manner and engaging sense of humor invite patients, even reluctant or embarrassed ones, to open up. No question is too small, no worry too trivial for him to address. Every person is treated with respect, dignity--and warmth. A very rare combination these days.
