Dr. Calin Stefan Moucha, MD

I spend a lot of time visiting doctors that could give me the right treatment for my hip dysplasia. Dr. Moucha evaluated my case and he immediately knew what to do. He is a highly skilled professional. I am walking again and the pain is gone! I highly recommend Dr. Moucha for anyone who needs orthopedic care.

I have had 3 hip replacement surgeries so I am somewhat of an "expert". The first one was done almost 30 years ago before Dr. Moucha was in practice. The second about 10 years ago before I was aware of Dr. Moucha's practice. When it became necessary to do a revision surgery of the initial replacement, I did extensive research and it was Dr. Moucha's name who surfaced in every category. So, I have a good basis for comparison. Revision is more difficult than the initial replacement. Dr. Moucha not only demonstrated absolute medical expertise, but both before, during recovery and in all follow ups Dr. Moucha was compassionate, caring, thorough and always answering questions/concerns with clarity and patience. I would recommend Dr. Moucha without reservation for anyone considering or in need of joint replacement/revision surgery.

Dr. Moucha performed a revision of a total hip replacement on my right hip. He is a highly-skilled and dedicated professional and the operation was a total success. He truly cares about his patients and is greatly respected by his peers. He must certainly be one of the very best in his field.

Dr. Moucha is a miracle worker who gave me my life back, and he's a really good guy to boot. I felt comfortable asking him anything and got simple and direct answers. Everyone at this practice takes time to get to know you and explain everything simply and in detail. I went through 3 surgeries and after the first, I knew I was in the best possible hands and had no worries at all, and that's huge. I have a new life thanks to his hands. I don't know how you could find a better surgeon.

Don’t visit Dr. Moucha if you have a complicated problem and expect any kind of quality care. You’re more likely to receive a dismissal. Very sad.

I would highly recommend Dr. Moucha, he is a fantastic surgeon and and excellent caregiver. He takes time to get to know you and is completely transparent and will answer any question you ask of him. He is tops in my book!

I had a bilateral hip replacement at Mount Sinai Hospital with Dr. Moucha. He was great! Caring, skilled physician, great patient manner, and his staff was top-notch. Mount Sinai was the best!

Dr. Moucha has knowledge about a wide range of medical conditions. Where there is an issue, he works hard to track down the cause and deal with it.

Dr. Moucha is a miracle worker. I had a hip replacement last year and was walking, driving, and going back to work within four weeks. At 74 this has meant I have my life back. He is a great surgeon and Mt. Sinai was an excellent hospital. Great staff, happy employees, good food (!), and efficient and personal service. I can’t recommend him enough - if you need a new hip, go to him!
