Back to soccer after Dr. Barr repaired my ankle ligament. Couldn't be happier with the outcome and Dr. Barr! Great doctor.

I'm 61 and back to jogging 30 miles per week, thanks to Dr. Barr. I have osteoarthritis in my right ankle and both big toes. Dr. Barr did surgery to remove bone spurs in those joints, and follow-on steroid injections in the ankle about 3x/year. I'm not a competitive athlete any more, but Dr. Barr has allowed me to run again. This is after my having believed another ankle orthopedic surgeon, who told me to give up any thought of ever running again - so I gave up for years. When my new general doctor told me about Dr. Barr, I gave him a try. I'm so glad to have been Dr. Barr's patient.

Dr. Barr operated on my ankle and I am back to running! He has been so kind and caring through the whole journey. He is absolutely the best!

I went to Dr. Barr after I injured my ankle playing pickle ball. He was able to fix my ligament and cartilage injury. He has been kind and caring from the first visit. Great beside manner. Surgery went very smooth and I am recovering ahead of schedule. Highly recommend.

so I go into Dr Barr with an Achilles/calf injury and he writes me off from the get go, after pleading with him something is wrong after 10-15 mins he finally schedules me for rounds of exams. After a month of test he we meet and he tells me nothing is wrong when they’re is clearly an issue with my leg and after talking for 2 mins says “depends on how far you want to take this” as if there’s nothing wrong and tells me to see a neurologist. For one, I have a SPORTS INJURY and this would be highly unlikely. Even more unlikely considering I have not injured my back or head ever, with no other neurological symptoms ever in my life. He didn’t even recommend me to get a second opinion just basically tells me nothing is wrong when it’s my body and clearly my right leg cannot perform normal functionality like the other; but I gathered all my test and am going to another Dr. Please avoid at all cost if your injury isn’t an atypical one, he will not take time and will essentially rush you out,… whether it’s purposely or not. This has all been a disheartening process

Not a lot of compassion or time for patients. He is a get in and get out kind of doctor. Don’t expect him to go over your results or tell you much about your condition. Save your co-pay and search the internet instead.

I am now 1 year out from a foot reconstruction and tendon repair. Lots of work to rebuild my foot, but I couldn't be happier. I dare to say I have a normal foot again. Couldn't be happier with Dr. Barr. He is a miracle worker and such a caring doc. I will miss seeing him every couple months, but will send everyone I know to him for his great care.

Dr. Barr is amazing. He literally saved my leg! I had a terrible bike accident where I broke and dislocated my ankle and foot. Dr. Barr put me back together when no one else said they could. I am back to work and life! He is not only skilled, but just a great person. I give him a hug every time I see him!
