Dr. Cammy Bowes, DO

Dr Cammy Bowes was my GP for more than a few years. When I 1st seen her, she was great. She was taking over for another Dr within the Kaiser Organization for my medical issues. Dr Bowes was great the first couple of years. Dr Bowes is great until you have a medical condition that she does not understand. I have been suffering with Lupus symptoms for many years. I was diagnosed with Kikuchi Fugimotos Disease. It resembles lymphoma. I had seen 2 different Oncologist in regards to this rare disease. Both doctors had put in the medical notes to watch me for Systemic Lupus. Apparently Dr. Bowes does not read notes or go over patient history too well. I have been fighting with her for years to figure out what was wrong with me and why I was always sick and had so many symptoms. She never once tested me for Lupus and it was right in front of her face. Dr Bowes treated me like a child as if I was always lying about my pain and symptoms. When I finally got smart and found a new doctor, things… were still hard. So many general practitioners have NO UNDERSTANDING of Lupus and how we suffer. They prefer to make you feel stupid than to try to understand and help you manage your disease. If you are seeing Dr Bowes for Basic illness symptoms like flu, sore throat, etc:, she will do. BUT, if you are dealing with health issues of any sorts, Dr. Bowes is NOT the doctor for you.
