Dr. Carl Jan Gilmore, MD

Dr. Gilmore is great. However, the Presbyterian Medical Group clinic, specifically, the Unser Orthopedic division SUCKS. Big time! Some clown in the scheduling office is discriminating against me because, of all things, I live in Sandoval County. If I were living in Santa Fe County, my business would (apparently) be welcome; but, because I live where I do, this clinic doesn't want me as a patient any longer. This, after more than a year and a half as a patient paying my bill fully and on time. And without any complaint from the clinic until just last week. Additionally, the office staff were very rude and entirely discourteous when informing me of this ridiculous decision. Hey PMG... where's the Christianity?

Dr Gilmore is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. And just as importantly, he is an excellent communicator. He listens, asks questions, cares what you have to say and really involves you in the decision making of your care. Most doctors should learn from him how to treat patients with dignity, care and respect. His bedside manner is superb.

Dr Gilmore replaced my knee and did a excellent job. I would definitely use him again if I have to do this again.

Best ever

Dr Gilmore is probably the best doctor I have ever been to. He asked me questions and answered all of mine. There was absolutely no pressure to have surgery but with all the information he gave me and his presentation of the entire process gave me the ability to make the best informed decision I could. I believe that having him perform the surgery I need I will get the best outcome and the best chance of recovery. Glad I looked around for a second opinion.

Dr. Gilmore is a very knowledgeable and caring physician. He is also an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend him.

A surgeon who is patient with our (maybe, maybe not) silly questions? YES! I know, yes, I KNOW, that he is not only confident (BUT NOT COCKY!) and competent but brilliant, and personable! He guided my husband to and thru his surgery and the before and the after (which we are still undergoing). THANK YOU, Dr. G.!
