Dr. Carlos Alberto Cosenza, MD

Unprofessional, and very rude! This doctor does not have compassion for his patients. I’ve never felt this helpless.

I couldn't be more thankful that my insurance referred me to such a wonderful surgeon that is Dr. Carlos Cosenza. When I first met him in early 2017, he explained to me in such great detail on what type of skin disease I had and what needed to be done. Had my two past surgery's with him and I can honestly say I couldn't be more grateful that I had them done with him. Not only did he help me with my painful, uncomfortable skin disease that is 'Hidradenitis Suppurativa' but also helped me grow as a person. It wasn't a dangerous surgery but an uncomfortable one since I had both of my entire axillary skin's removed. The on going follow ups made me feel at ease knowing I was getting well taken care of. It's been almost a year since I've been seeing Dr. Carlos Cosenza and I can honestly say he is more then just my surgeon, he is family!

I was hospitalized three days because gallstone He was rude, cocky, he said I was lying, he wouldn't listen , his attitude horrible, all others doctors and nurses were great, I refuse to use his services at hospital

I was sent to him for a consultation on cysts in my breasts. After waiting over an hour to see him i was put into the exam room and told he would be in shortly. He came in and asked questions and then proceded to examine me ( no nurse in the room). I told him that i have been having horrible pain for months now. He told me there was nothing that could be done because they were too small, that i would just have to deal with the pain. Maybe take pain meds. He aslo said maybe the pain was psychological. But the best part was if i wanted to get rid of the pain, i could get a double mastectomy.... I have felt so bad about going to a doctor in my life.....

I went to to the ER due to very bad abdominal pain and was referred to Dr. Cosenza for the surgery. He recommended the Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy which is considerably less invasive than the traditional option and I said let's do it. He has four offices and is extremely busy but his surgery coordinator managed to get my surgery scheduled in a couple of days. I called her multiple times and each time she handled my call with professionalism and was always very courteous and patient. When I got to the hospital, the nurse didn't put in my IV because she ran out of time and said that she would leave it to be handled by the anesthesiologist. Once I got into the actual operating room, I became even more nervous and Dr. Cosenza rubbed my shoulder and told me that I would be just fine and not to worry. His words were very comforting during a very stressful moment. The surgery was a great success and I followed up with him eleven days post-op. His front office staff was very friendly… and pleasant and put me in a room right away. Shortly thereafter I met with Dr Cosenza again and he said that I could return to work and would be fine. Dr. Cosenza and his staff exceeded my expectation and I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends Thank you Dr. Cosenza! Job well done!

I have never seen this surgeon who stated to me that he specializes in Cancer of the Breast
