Dr. Carlos Mcclella Kier, MD

I saw Dr. Kier from 2004-2005. He was a very good listener, kind and very knowledgeable. I found he gave me very good advice at that time which was prior to biologics. I would highly recommend him.

He’s the best doctor I’ve had and the longest serving staff are also amazing

I saw Dr. Kier regarding my chronic pain and mentioned that I thought I had fibromyalgia, as my doctor has run numerous tests and is unable to explain my pain. Dr. Keir was extremely dismissive of my symptoms and flat out told me that I didn’t have fibro. And then (here’s the kicker), his office asks that you send your records prior to the appointment, so I did just that. They ran some tests at my appointment and it turns out that Dr. Kier requested the same tests be done that my PCP had ALREADY done 5 weeks ago. Why even request the records if you’re not going to take a few minutes to review them? All in all, I don’t recommend Dr. Keir as a doctor. He was very invalidating of my experiences and had the absolute worst bedside manner.

Don't go see this Dr Kier he does not listen he does not take you disease seriously he tells you you okay you making this up he is so rude he is hatefull.

Dr. Kier is the most unqualified, uncaring and poor excuse for a doctor of any specialty. He first saw me and told me I did not have RA. The next appointment he declared that I did have RA. He made some rediculous comment about my having "another little black rain cloud". Too bad he is still in practice.

Run don't walk away from this doctor!!! Wasted my time seeing this person.. Verbally stated that he would not help me. Refused to do any diagnostic test and basically showed me to the door and took my insurance money without providing me service. There should be a sign on his door stating what TYPE of people he prefer to treat!! I wasted a whole day off work to see this person!! I certainly was not the TYPE of human being he preferred to help. I think dogs are treated better than what I was treated.

I just went to go see Dr. Kier for the second time against my better judgement. I saw him about 5 years ago and told me that I didn't have RA, but wanted me to keep going to see him! I then started seeing Dr. Basu and his treatment was good I just had to wait hours to see him and he was 20 miles away! So I figured I qould give kier another shot what a waste of time! He still telling me I don't have Ra! The office help said he neede my medical records before he would see me! That's a joke cause he didn't even look at them before I saw him even worse he couldn't even find them! He was in and out of the room so fast u would of thought it was on fire! None the less I will not waste anymore of my time with this quack!

His office staff is wonderful but he is the rudest person i have ever met...doesnt listen, acted as if i was wasting his time, said i dont have lupus when tests have shown that i do and accused me of making up symptoms...i felt that if i was older and male he would have treated me better

I felt the same way as the first person. I don't know why I even went to see him. Had to pay my copay to be told nothing was wrong with me when my Primary physician said and the labs showed that I had high levels of imflamation. He kept saying he didn't think it was Lupus...which wasn't my concern anyways!!! I just want to know what is causing my auto immune disorder! He couldn't hear me very well and I didn't really understand what he was telling me. After going to him I found out that other people I knew had gone to him and they didn't like him either. They changed doctors.
