Dr. Carmen J Garcia, MD

After seeing other doctor I've decided to see her for a second opinion, when she saw my nail for a split second (I had a little dark line on my nail) she said that I have to do a biopsy of my nail. I told her that I actually saw a different doc and he told me what it was and there is no worries, she said she never heard about that and it could be cancer! In addition I was there with my baby in car seat so when she saw him she looked at me and said "You have a baby now so you have to take care of yourself". I literally cried for days, went back to my first doc went through nail removal and punch biopsy (just for my peace of mind, because first doc said there is absolutely no need for that). I got my results and guess what? First doc was right! No cancer nothing to be worry about!!! Do not go and see her, my biopsy results proves her lack of knowledge and lack of experience!!! Horrible doctor!!!

Dr Garcia was thorough in her exam and asking questions of me and my health history. She has a pleasant demeanor as well. All in all, very satisfied.

I'm so happy to have met Dr. Garcia,...though not particularly under these circumstances(shingles outbreak)... She was warm, cordial and professional.

My daughter visited dr garcia for a rash like ache on her face. Dr Garcia came into the examining room. Looked at her face told her she is prescribing a cream that would be coming from a pharmacy in paramus that she likes using even though it is several towns from our home. Never asked any questions whatsoever such as diet nor did she explain what it was that she had. When I asked the question what could have caused the rash or what exactly is this on her face she seemed annoyed that she had to spend a minute longer then the three that she already had. When asked if she was going to do a body scan she was already opening the door and said when I see you again in three months. Never have we experienced such lack of interest from a medical professional. Wish she would have shown the same level of interest on my daughters health as she did the pharmacy services. We are still waiting for the prescription that should have been mailed and received the day after our visit per the doctor. … Very disappointed in this doctor.

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE GOING TO THIS OFFICE. THE PHYSICIAN WAS VERY RUDE, UNPLEASANT, AND KEEP ON MAKING FACES. I CAME WITH A SIMPLE ALLERGY AND WHEN I USED THE PRESCRIPTION SHE GAVE ME, MY WHOLE FACE GOT ALL RED AND ITCHY. I WAS TOLD TO COME BACK FOR NO CHARGE, AND MONTHS AFTER.. I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM A DEBT COLLECTOR SAYING I OWE THEM! THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. SAVE YOURSELF SOME TROUBLE AND NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE.

I went to Dr. Garcia as a new patient and I loved her. She was pleasant and answered all my questions. She handled my skin problem with expertise. What more can I say - it's hard to find a dermatologist as goos as she!

The staff at reception are efficient. The doctor's assistant is polite and listens to the patient. However, Dr Garcia is not one to spend time with her patients. She prescribed a cream and had her hand on the door handle ready to leave the consultation room. I had to tell her that I had some questions. Patients are knowledgeable and entitled to ask questions. In my view, the appointment was very rushed. At the end of the appointment I knew that I needed to find a new dermatologist.

Dr. Garcia is wonderful! She is thorough, caring, and put me at ease. I highly recommend her to all my friends and family!!

First off my appointment was for 10:30. As additional patients entered the office I heard them say to the receiptionist...I'm hear for my 10:30 appt...there were 3 patients that said that. I had lots of questions and issues and she brushed them off saying don't worry about these moles etc. She told me I had roseaca, gave me a gel to put on my face everyday and did not ask me to come back. She said to just leave the moles/skin tags alone and do nothing.

through biopsies and simple procedures, Dr. Garcia will be the only Derm. I feel totally comfortable with... Her office staff in Paramus were so nice,on the phone and in person....That is the reason for me to take the time out and write this review...
