Dr. Carmen L Pastor, MD

She was very nice and quite knowledgeable. With her years of experience, was able to spend one and half hours with me going through my medication and over the counter vitamins too. She made me realize that different items can affect the level of one's thyroid medication efficacy. It was a very good visit and from the other reports, I can't imagine others did not file a report as I. She is warm and very caring and we are exploring all issues to deal the side effects of the meds and get me to the proper levels of and homeostasis. A very good visit and she was very open to helping me.

The worst experience. The office was unreachable and didn’t return my call even after several attempts to confirm how I can share my medical information ahead of time. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful and straight out lie that that he didn’t get any referral documents. He did not provide any details about documents needed. So when I showed up for appointment, I was forced to reschedule even I showed up 20 mins early and can run to grab their needed documents in the car. Had a quick interaction with Dr. Carmen before speaking to the receptionist. My impression is I would not want to have her as my Dr. either.

I saw Dr. Pastor because all other doctors were booked for 2+ months. I don’t regret it because I was able to get the tx I needed for my thyroid quickly. However, this is literally THE WORST doctor I’ve ever had. She’s unprofessional (asked me if I had diarrhea in front of other patients) and borderline unethical (called me to discuss my tests results, told me she was doing me a favor and, when I wanted to share ongoing symptoms, she said she didn’t want my synthroid dosage. Last thing, she stopped refilling my meds through my pharmacy because she wanted to see me yet she never called to inform me of this. Instead, I had one pill left and had to go to urgent care to get refills. Front desk staff in her office is also rude and does not return calls.

Worst doctor ever. Front desk never picks up the phone. I had to request multiple times for my insulin prescription.

She is not even close to be a person who cares about patients, she doesn't remember that she is getting pay from our insurance and treats people like s....,

Stay out of this woman. Worst doctor and human being on earth.

AWFUL, VERY BAD, RUN AWAY!

My options have been limited due to insurance coverage, thus I've been stuck with Dr. Pastor for the past seven years. I finally have a new plan and can choose and new doctor which I plan to do ASAP. Dr. Pastor is absentminded, and has referred me for multiple tests that I have not needed. In addition, the office is a nightmare to deal with. Mulitple calls to get a simple rx filled. If you have other options definitely take them!

DO NOT USE this business. I don't even know where to begin to tell you the extent of the problems with this place. These people honestly must have mental problems. The receptionist is the worst. He is completely incompetent, demands that you come early for your appointment, and is mean and nasty in person and on the phone. He has no sense of customer service or courtesy. The doctor is mean and rude and does not care at all about her patients. I had an appointment for 9AM. I entered the office at 9:04AM because I was held up on the elevator and the receptionist refused to let me see the doctor. He told me that because I was late that I would not be seen. He said that I could sit there and wait until they could get me in some time in the afternoon.I said "what? I have to go to work!" I thought he was joking. I said to him several times, "you're kidding me, right? It's 9:04AM. My appointment is at 9AM. It's 4 minutes past!!" I asked to speak to the Dr. He said that I could… not. I told him that I was leaving and would not be back. I later called to request my patient records and he told me that they charge for the files and only take such requests in writing. I said fine. Again, I asked him to please have the doctor call me and left my number. The doctor never called. I have since sent them the check and an official written request for my records. I didn't trust the incompetent receptionist so I sent the letter and check certified mail. A few weeks later they had the audacity to send me a bill for a missed appointment. I was livid. This place is unethical and money grubbing. They wasted my time, caused me to miss work so that I could be at the appointment which they then refuse to see me. They denied me service and care because I was FOUR minutes late and now they are charging me for a missed appointment. I can completely understand why this practice gets such horrible reviews on a number of sites on line. The horrible reviews are true. I can't believe this doctor isn't out of business already. Trust me, don't waste your time on this doctor or her horribly run practice and sub par care. I did finally get my medical records from this awful place and I have since transferred to another doctor.
