Dr. Carol Tipton Aitcheson, MD

Dr A retired late last year after being my internist since 1988! Her clinical diagnostic skills were top notch! Her referrals to specialist were of the best in their field and who were very personable just like Dr A! She is rare in that she doesn’t look down or act superior the way some physicians do if you are experiencing mental health issues. I became a PA during my tenure with Dr A. She was the type of medical provider I worked hard t emulate.in my practice! Once you have had the best, it makes sense as a provider that I wanted my patients to feel as well taken care of my a kick-ass diagnostician, a friendly ear and the ability to know I was in the best hands. She is missed. If we can’t see her through her retirement what better provider to have than Dr. A’s primary provider. As always her last recommendation was made as she knew what was important to me as a provider!!! The person who complained about no handwashing. The first thing she did entering the room was to pump the… disinfectant encased in plastic on the wall. Her assistants followed that same protocol. Thanks Dr A. You are missed!

Goes without saying!! Dr.Carol Aitcheson is truly dedicated & cares about her patients. I have never felt rushed during my appointments & my questions were I felt thoroughly answered. Her office staff is amazing as well. Very professional & friendly:-)

Dr. Carol is without exception the best primary physician I have ever had. She is extremely competent, she listens and communicates well, she shows concern and kindness, and she has a good sense of humor. In short, she is an exceptional physician and a special person.

Dr. Aitcheson provided excellent patient care when she diagnosed the need for an immediate procedure to determine if I had an acute DVT. When it was discovered that I did she provided guidance in the right medication and followup with my oncologist. Throughout the whole process I was able to contact her at any time to help me through the adjustments. She is the best!

Dr. Aitcheson is simply the best in every area: expertise, professionalism, and care for the whole person!

Dr Aitcheson is the type of doctor we all are looking for. She is always responsive to any question or problem I have and goes out of her way to quickly get whatever medical help I need. Her staff is excellent also. What else can I say- she takes good care of her patients.

She is engaging and you don't have to wait long once you arrive, but none of them - Dr. Aitcheson nor her medical assistants wash their hands before they touch on you or stick things in your mouth - very disgusting. Let me see you wash your hands. There's nothing wrong with clean hands, even if you have to wash them after every patient, 8 to 10 times a day. We pay you enough to deserve clean hands. Just do it.

Dr. Aitcheson has been my internist since. 1988! She is absolutely the best clinical minded, excellent rapport physician I have ever met! New patients do have to wait a few months for a new patient appointment to see her, but once established as a patient she is extremely available to. See you if an issue arises! She is very thorough and is very astute to the patients need. I became a physician assistant during my time as her patient and she is the doctor I try to emulate in my approach to the patient needs and there clinical, diagnostic and treatment needs! The person who wrote that she wasn't worth the weight or not into new patents was either having a bad day r needs to understand that the person who Dr. Aitcheson or her staff is attending to why she is on hold is every bit as important as the woman that is on phone waiting thinks she is! Very much WORTH THE WAIT! All my friends are now her patients and it is unanimous among all of us.....Best internist there is hands down!

Although highly recommended, appointment staff - after a 20 minute wait on hold- was disinterested and apparently there is no cancellation or wait list option. No appointment available for 4 months - no options, no choices, no assistance. Too bad. Don't waste time on this doctor - she evidently is content with her present annual income and doesn't need to consider other potential patients. One review mentioned a shift in support staff - apparently even current patients have noted less patient- oriented office personnel.
