Carol helped me to successfully manage my bipolar disorder for over 17 years. She works well with you on your medication and is very responsive.

I Told Dr Macknin my son abused Vyvanse but yet she prescribed it 3 MORE TIMES. This caused many problems in addition to his bipolar illness. When family is told," You are part of the treatment team" that is a bunch of baloney. She should retire and do us all a favor. IGNORED MOTHER OF BIPOLAR SON.

Received a diagnosis that was incorrect. I ended up in a hospital from being overmedicated and almost died. It was discovered that the diagnosis given and treatment provided where totally inaccurate. She at one point said to me "well what do you want me to do about it".

Excellent experience

Without meeting me, Dr. Macknin misdiagnosed me with Borderline Personality Disorder. She completely overlooked my husband's narcissistic personality and made no progress with helping him with his disorder, but, instead, destroyed my marriage by instructing him I was a Borderline Personailty and that he should give up on me and leave me. My family broke apart because of Dr. Macknin and my chiildren and I have never been the same. She is a very dangerous doctor and I advise people to stay away from her. She recommended my husband have an affair and he has avoided all responsibility for his behavior because Dr. Macknin told him I was incurable. I am not nor have I ever been a Borderline Personlity. I have had several psychological evaluations that have all revealed that I am completely in the normal ranges. Meanwhile my ex-husband has taken those same evaluations and was found to fall way outside the normal ranges. Dr. Macknin is a miserable doctor who destroys lives. It was… completely irresponsible for her to have made any diagnosis of me without having met me. She should lose her license to practice medicine and therapy.
