Dr. Carolyn Morrow Hyde, MD

I ran into some unusual problems/extraordinary issues with my rt. knee; including infection, falls post-op. Dr. Hyde is an excellent physician who treats the patient as a whole. Her knowledge and skill is better than most bar none.

Both my leg bones shattered at my ankle and she miraculously put them back together when others wanted to amputate my foot. Still walking 9 years later! Excellent manner and service.

This dr. will do her post surgery visits at 3 am. That's right, 3 am. She doesn't like questions, she gives you this pathetic little speech about patients with positive attitudes having positive results. I'm not a hypochondriac, nor did I expect bad results, but it's my body and I want to have my questions answered. I am several years out from my surgery, one knee "pops" painfully. I'm trying to figure out what to do, I don't want to go back to her. I can't imagine why she gets good reviews, she treated me like the old time docs who would say, "Don't worry your pretty little head about it." Please reconsider, this doctor has issues.

Well informed from Dr Hyde on options for my knee. I did not want any surgery and we are in agreement that at this time no surgery. Options were given on several knee injections and it was up to me on what I wanted and the cost was given prior to the procedure. I will continue with this practice for all my knee problems. all professional staff and very friendly.

Dr. Hyde is an amazing doctor! I had seen 2 other doctors that could not figure out what my injury was. I went to her after reading the reviews from other people and it was truly been life changing. She takes the time to analyze the problem and explain it in a way that I understood.

Dr. Hyde is the consummate professional and perfectionist. She really works at getting it right. I had been through a long list of highly recommended surgeons, but she was referred to me by a friend, and she was the best I saw by a long shot. The surgery went well, the recovery was uneventful, and I have played lots of pain free rounds of golf since. Even though I am driving from San Antonio to see her, I wouldn't consider seeing anyone else for knee issues. Thank you, Dr. Hyde.

Will probably have to have surgery. Spent more time with me than either of the 2 other specialists I saw.

Dr Hyde saw me for my shoulder and drew pictures of my shoulder to explain my problem which really helped me understand what was going on. She takes her time with you until you are comfortable and fully understand what she's trying to tell you. Wonderful Doctor!

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Hyde. Her balance of in-depth knowledge and courteous bedside manner is hard to find. She truly cares and takes as much time as necessary to fully explain the ramifications of the injury and treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Hyde to anyone in need of orthopaedic surgery.

I had a wonderful experience with this doctor, she was kind and explained my problem in detail. She even drew anotomy pictures with my specific problem to help explain my problem. My knee was injected with a Synvisc One injection which caused soreness for a few days but has been great since then. Her nurse injected my knee and was wonderful also. I would reccomend her to anyone without hesitation! Also, I was worked in for my appointment and got in the same day and even received my paperwork via email within seconds of making my appointment!
