Dr. Root is a highly skilled surgeon who fixed multiple fractures in my thumb with outstanding results. Throughout the process Dr. Root and her staff anticipated questions I would have and took the time to ensure I understood and was comfortable with the process. The entire team has gone the extra mile every visit.

I have been a patient of Dr Root for several years. I have had 2 surgeries and multiple in office treatments. I have always had a pleasant, positive experience with Dr Root. From calling to schedule the appointment to checking in with the receptionist and the office experience I’ve never had a problem. I have come to totally trust Dr Roots diagnosis and advice and each time the results have been positive. I would recommend Dr Root and her team to anyone looking for a hand doctor.

I initially saw Dr. Root about 5 years ago when I wanted a second opinion on a wrist injury. My first impression was that she was an incredibly skilled doctor and very intelligent. So when I had trouble with the other wrist, there was no doubt as to which doctor I would go to. She quickly assessed my wrist and gave me options that included an MRI. The next visit, as we discussed the MRI results, I mentioned the previous (opposite) wrist injury. She changed her thought process to evaluate both wrists holistically and recommended me to another specialist. When I returned to Dr. Root with the results, she gave me an effective treatment and avoided surgery, which was a concern of mine. I always felt like I was the most important patient Dr. Root had. She spent an appropriate amount of time with me and answered my questions thoroughly. She also voice records her notes, which allows her to spend more time with her patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Root for any and all hand… issues.
