Dr. Cathy F Gentemann, MD

I've seen for Dr. G for past 5 times. She was always in a hurry and when I ask her questions, she became agitated. She couldn't find out what's wrong with me. When I asked her if I can get some more blood tests, she got agitated and said, "why do you think you need that?" So I saw another Dr. and he run the tests and quickly identified my problem and gave me the right medications. Dr. G doesn't spend time to figure out what's going on with the patient. Not recommended.

I am sad to write this review because Dr. Gentemann used to be my go-to, favorite doctor. She caught and accurately diagnosed a serious underlying medical condition a few years ago, which is why I went back to her twice recently for blood work when I wasn't feeling well. After the results of the 2nd blood test came back showing continued low levels in several areas (which has caused me to not feel well), she made no comments or recommendations whatsoever on the results letter Memorial Prompt Care mailed to me. Over the past few months, I have called the office and have left multiple messages with the office staff asking for Dr. G to call me to discuss. NO ONE has even bothered to call me back. I will definitely find a doctor that A) cares enough to call back when blood work shows a problem or B) receives her messages from the office staff. Whatever the issue, I need a doctor I can rely on.

Dr. Gentemann has been great! She helped me when I really needed it. Don't know what would have happened without her.

She really cares about your well being. She is very sincere, and is always there to help... She is a doctor for all the right reasons.

it's been a couple of years since Dr. G moved to HB. i was a patient of hers in the LB location - best doctor ever! i haven't found a doctor who listens to the patient's opinions like she did with me. i think i am going to have to change doctors again, and go to her in HB.
